Someone once told a story. While on a long-distance train journey, there was a mother sitting in front of him. The mother couldn't stop kissing her baby. The baby was wrapped in a warm blanket, its face not clearly visible. Curious about the baby's appearance, he kept observing. Until one time, the blanket slipped and the baby's face became clear. It turned out the baby looked ugly. However, that's a mother's love. No matter how the baby looks, the mother still loves wholeheartedly.
There are so many touching stories of a mother's love. However, even more amazing is the story of the love of God the Father and Jesus Christ for us. Apostle Paul described it dramatically. For a good person, maybe someone is willing to die. But, it is even more difficult for someone to die for a righteous person. Because there is no emotional bond. But who is willing to die to replace sinful, evil, and wicked people like us? This is exactly what Christ did for us. When we were still enemies of God, Christ died for us. Such love is truly beyond our understanding because of our limitations.
We can only be grateful and praise the Lord endlessly. Without any effort on our part, Christ has reconciled us with God the Father through the death of Jesus Christ. We are proud in God because we have received that reconciliation. Can we still have any reason not to love Him wholeheartedly? --HEM/www.renunganharian.net
