  1. Batas-batas daerah Yehuda

  2. Yos 15:1 Bagian yang diundikan kepada suku bani Yehuda menurut kaum-kaum mereka adalah sampai ke batas tanah Edom, sampai ke padang gurun Zin ke selatan, di ujung selatan.
  3. Yos 15:2 Batas selatan bagi mereka mulai dari ujung Laut Asin, dari teluk yang menghadap ke selatan;
  4. Yos 15:3 lalu keluar pada sebelah selatan pendakian Akrabim, terus ke Zin, naik ke sebelah selatan Kadesh-Barnea, terus ke Hezron, naik ke Adar, membelok ke Karka,
  5. Yos 15:4 terus ke Azmon dan keluar pada sungai tanah Mesir, sehingga batas itu berakhir ke laut. Itulah bagi kamu batas selatan.
  6. Yos 15:5 Batas timur ialah Laut Asin sampai ke muara sungai Yordan. Batas pada sisi utara mulai dari teluk di muara sungai Yordan itu:
  7. Yos 15:6 batas itu naik ke Bet-Hogla, melalui sebelah utara Bet-Araba, kemudian batas itu naik ke batu Bohan bin Ruben;
  8. Yos 15:7 lalu dari lembah Akhor batas itu naik ke Debir, dan menuju ke utara ke Gilgal di seberang pendakian Adumim, yang di sebelah selatan sungai. Kemudian batas itu terus ke mata air En-Semes dan keluar ke En-Rogel.
  9. Yos 15:8 Kemudian batas itu naik ke lembah Ben-Hinom, di sebelah selatan sepanjang lereng gunung Yebus, itulah Yerusalem; kemudian batas itu naik ke puncak gunung yang di seberang lembah Hinom, di sebelah barat, di ujung utara lembah orang Refaim.
  10. Yos 15:9 Kemudian batas itu melengkung dari puncak gunung itu ke mata air Me-Neftoah, lalu keluar ke kota-kota pegunungan Efron; selanjutnya batas itu melengkung ke Baala, itulah Kiryat-Yearim.
  11. Yos 15:10 Kemudian batas itu membelok dari Baala ke barat ke pegunungan Seir, terus ke utara ke lereng gunung Yearim, itulah Kesalon, turun ke Bet-Semes dan terus ke Timna.
  12. Yos 15:11 Kemudian batas itu keluar ke utara ke lereng gunung Ekron; kemudian batas itu melengkung ke Sikron, terus ke gunung Baala dan keluar dekat Yabneel, sehingga batas itu berakhir di laut.
  13. Yos 15:12 Batas barat ialah Laut Besar dan pantainya. Itulah, ke segala penjuru, batas-batas daerah bani Yehuda menurut kaum-kaum mereka.

  14. Kaleb merebut Hebron

  15. Yos 15:13 Tetapi kepada Kaleb bin Yefune diberikan Yosua sebagian di tengah-tengah bani Yehuda itu, yakni Kiryat-Arba, seperti yang dititahkan TUHAN kepadanya; Arba ialah bapa Enak. Itulah Hebron.
  16. Yos 15:14 Dan Kaleb menghalau dari sana ketiga orang Enak, yakni Sesai, Ahiman dan Talmai, anak-anak Enak.
  17. Yos 15:15 Dari sana ia maju menyerang penduduk Debir. Nama Debir itu dahulu ialah Kiryat-Sefer.
  18. Yos 15:16 Lalu berkatalah Kaleb: "Siapa yang menggempur Kiryat-Sefer dan merebutnya, kepadanya akan kuberikan Akhsa, anakku, menjadi isterinya."
  19. Yos 15:17 Dan Otniel, anak Kenas saudara Kaleb, merebut kota itu; lalu Kaleb memberikan kepadanya Akhsa, anaknya, menjadi isterinya.
  20. Yos 15:18 Ketika perempuan itu tiba, dibujuknya suaminya untuk meminta ladang kepada ayahnya. Maka turunlah perempuan itu dari keledainya, lalu berkatalah Kaleb kepadanya: "Ada apa?"
  21. Yos 15:19 Jawabnya: "Berikanlah kepadaku hadiah; telah kauberikan kepadaku tanah yang gersang, berikanlah juga kepadaku mata air." Lalu diberikannyalah kepadanya mata air yang di hulu dan mata air yang di hilir.

  22. Kota-kota suku Yehuda

  23. Yos 15:20 Inilah milik pusaka suku bani Yehuda menurut kaum-kaum mereka.
  24. Yos 15:21 Kota-kota suku bani Yehuda yang paling ujung, dekat batas tanah Edom di Tanah Negeb, ialah Kabzeel, Eder, Yagur,
  25. Yos 15:22 Kina, Dimona, Adada,
  26. Yos 15:23 Kedesh, Hazor, Yitnan,
  27. Yos 15:24 Zif, Telem, Bealot,
  28. Yos 15:25 Hazor-Hadata, Keriot-Hezron, itulah Hazor;
  29. Yos 15:26 Amam, Sema, Molada,
  30. Yos 15:27 Hazar-Gada, Hesmon, Bet-Pelet,
  31. Yos 15:28 Hazar-Sual, Bersyeba dan segala anak kotanya,
  32. Yos 15:29 Baala, Iyim, Ezem,
  33. Yos 15:30 Eltolad, Kesil, Horma,
  34. Yos 15:31 Ziklag, Madmana, Sansana,
  35. Yos 15:32 Lebaot, Silhim, Ain dan Rimon; seluruhnya dua puluh sembilan kota dengan desa-desanya.
  36. Yos 15:33 Di Daerah Bukit: Esytaol, Zora, Asna,
  37. Yos 15:34 Zanoah, En-Ganim, Tapuah, Enam,
  38. Yos 15:35 Yarmut, Adulam, Sokho, Azeka,
  39. Yos 15:36 Saaraim, Aditaim, Gedera dan Gederotaim; empat belas kota dengan desa-desanya.
  40. Yos 15:37 Zenan, Hadasa, Migdal-Gad,
  41. Yos 15:38 Dilean, Mizpa, Yokteel,
  42. Yos 15:39 Lakhis, Bozkat, Eglon,
  43. Yos 15:40 Kabon, Lahmas, Kitlis,
  44. Yos 15:41 Gederot, Bet-Dagon, Naama dan Makeda; enam belas kota dengan desa-desanya.
  45. Yos 15:42 Libna, Eter, Asan,
  46. Yos 15:43 Yiftah, Asna, Nezib,
  47. Yos 15:44 Kehila, Akhzib dan Maresa; sembilan kota dengan desa-desanya.
  48. Yos 15:45 Ekron dengan segala anak kota dan desanya.
  49. Yos 15:46 Mulai dari Ekron sampai ke laut, segala yang di sisi Asdod dan desa-desanya,
  50. Yos 15:47 Asdod dengan segala anak kota dan desa-desanya, Gaza dengan segala anak kota dan desa-desanya, sampai ke sungai tanah Mesir, Laut Besar dan pantainya.
  51. Yos 15:48 Lagi di Pegunungan: Samir, Yatir, Sokho,
  52. Yos 15:49 Dana, Kiryat-Sana, itulah Debir;
  53. Yos 15:50 Anab, Estemo, Anim,
  54. Yos 15:51 Gosyen, Holon dan Gilo; sebelas kota dengan desa-desanya;
  55. Yos 15:52 Arab, Duma, Esan,
  56. Yos 15:53 Yanum, Bet-Tapuah, Afeka,
  57. Yos 15:54 Humta, Kiryat-Arba, itulah Hebron, dan Zior; sembilan kota dengan desa-desanya.
  58. Yos 15:55 Maon, Karmel, Zif, Yuta,
  59. Yos 15:56 Yizreel, Yokdeam, Zanoah,
  60. Yos 15:57 Kain, Gibea dan Timna; sepuluh kota dengan desa-desanya.
  61. Yos 15:58 Halhul, Bet-Zur, Gedor,
  62. Yos 15:59 Maarat, Bet-Anot dan Eltekon; enam kota dengan desa-desanya.
  63. Yos 15:60 Kiryat-Baal, itulah Kiryat-Yearim, dan Raba; dua kota dengan desa-desanya.
  64. Yos 15:61 Di padang gurun: Bet-Araba, Midin, Sekhakha,
  65. Yos 15:62 Nibsan, Kota Garam dan En-Gedi; enam kota dengan desa-desanya.
  66. Yos 15:63 Tetapi orang Yebus, penduduk kota Yerusalem, tidak dapat dihalau oleh bani Yehuda. Jadi orang Yebus itu masih tetap diam bersama-sama dengan bani Yehuda di Yerusalem sampai sekarang.
  1. Josh 15:1 This then was the lot of the tribe of the children of Judah by their families; even to the border of Edom the wilderness of Zin southward was the uttermost part of the south coast.
  2. Josh 15:2 And their south border was from the shore of the salt sea, from the bay that looketh southward:
  3. Josh 15:3 And it went out to the south side to Maalehacrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and ascended up on the south side unto Kadeshbarnea, and passed along to Hezron, and went up to Adar, and fetched a compass to Karkaa:
  4. Josh 15:4 From thence it passed toward Azmon, and went out unto the river of Egypt; and the goings out of that coast were at the sea: this shall be your south coast.
  5. Josh 15:5 And the east border was the salt sea, even unto the end of Jordan. And their border in the north quarter was from the bay of the sea at the uttermost part of Jordan:
  6. Josh 15:6 And the border went up to Bethhogla, and passed along by the north of Betharabah; and the border went up to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben:
  7. Josh 15:7 And the border went up toward Debir from the valley of Achor, and so northward, looking toward Gilgal, that is before the going up to Adummim, which is on the south side of the river: and the border passed toward the waters of Enshemesh, and the goings out thereof were at Enrogel:
  8. Josh 15:8 And the border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the south side of the Jebusite; the same is Jerusalem: and the border went up to the top of the mountain that lieth before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the end of the valley of the giants northward:
  9. Josh 15:9 And the border was drawn from the top of the hill unto the fountain of the water of Nephtoah, and went out to the cities of mount Ephron; and the border was drawn to Baalah, which is Kirjathjearim:
  10. Josh 15:10 And the border compassed from Baalah westward unto mount Seir, and passed along unto the side of mount Jearim, which is Chesalon, on the north side, and went down to Bethshemesh, and passed on to Timnah:
  11. Josh 15:11 And the border went out unto the side of Ekron northward: and the border was drawn to Shicron, and passed along to mount Baalah, and went out unto Jabneel; and the goings out of the border were at the sea.
  12. Josh 15:12 And the west border was to the great sea, and the coast thereof. This is the coast of the children of Judah round about according to their families.
  13. Josh 15:13 And unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a part among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of the LORD to Joshua, even the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron.
  14. Josh 15:14 And Caleb drove thence the three sons of Anak, Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the children of Anak.
  15. Josh 15:15 And he went up thence to the inhabitants of Debir: and the name of Debir before was Kirjathsepher.
  16. Josh 15:16 And Caleb said, He that smiteth Kirjathsepher, and taketh it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter to wife.
  17. Josh 15:17 And Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it: and he gave him Achsah his daughter to wife.
  18. Josh 15:18 And it came to pass, as she came unto him, that she moved him to ask of her father a field: and she lighted off her ass; and Caleb said unto her, What wouldest thou?
  19. Josh 15:19 Who answered, Give me a blessing; for thou hast given me a south land; give me also springs of water. And he gave her the upper springs, and the nether springs.
  20. Josh 15:20 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families.
  21. Josh 15:21 And the uttermost cities of the tribe of the children of Judah toward the coast of Edom southward were Kabzeel, and Eder, and Jagur,
  22. Josh 15:22 And Kinah, and Dimonah, and Adadah,
  23. Josh 15:23 And Kedesh, and Hazor, and Ithnan,
  24. Josh 15:24 Ziph, and Telem, and Bealoth,
  25. Josh 15:25 And Hazor, Hadattah, and Kerioth, and Hezron, which is Hazor,
  26. Josh 15:26 Amam, and Shema, and Moladah,
  27. Josh 15:27 And Hazargaddah, and Heshmon, and Bethpalet,
  28. Josh 15:28 And Hazarshual, and Beersheba, and Bizjothjah,
  29. Josh 15:29 Baalah, and Iim, and Azem,
  30. Josh 15:30 And Eltolad, and Chesil, and Hormah,
  31. Josh 15:31 And Ziklag, and Madmannah, and Sansannah,
  32. Josh 15:32 And Lebaoth, and Shilhim, and Ain, and Rimmon: all the cities are twenty and nine, with their villages:
  33. Josh 15:33 And in the valley, Eshtaol, and Zoreah, and Ashnah,
  34. Josh 15:34 And Zanoah, and Engannim, Tappuah, and Enam,
  35. Josh 15:35 Jarmuth, and Adullam, Socoh, and Azekah,
  36. Josh 15:36 And Sharaim, and Adithaim, and Gederah, and Gederothaim; fourteen cities with their villages:
  37. Josh 15:37 Zenan, and Hadashah, and Migdalgad,
  38. Josh 15:38 And Dilean, and Mizpeh, and Joktheel,
  39. Josh 15:39 Lachish, and Bozkath, and Eglon,
  40. Josh 15:40 And Cabbon, and Lahmam, and Kithlish,
  41. Josh 15:41 And Gederoth, Bethdagon, and Naamah, and Makkedah; sixteen cities with their villages:
  42. Josh 15:42 Libnah, and Ether, and Ashan,
  43. Josh 15:43 And Jiphtah, and Ashnah, and Nezib,
  44. Josh 15:44 And Keilah, and Achzib, and Mareshah; nine cities with their villages:
  45. Josh 15:45 Ekron, with her towns and her villages:
  46. Josh 15:46 From Ekron even unto the sea, all that lay near Ashdod, with their villages:
  47. Josh 15:47 Ashdod with her towns and her villages, Gaza with her towns and her villages, unto the river of Egypt, and the great sea, and the border thereof:
  48. Josh 15:48 And in the mountains, Shamir, and Jattir, and Socoh,
  49. Josh 15:49 And Dannah, and Kirjathsannah, which is Debir,
  50. Josh 15:50 And Anab, and Eshtemoh, and Anim,
  51. Josh 15:51 And Goshen, and Holon, and Giloh; eleven cities with their villages:
  52. Josh 15:52 Arab, and Dumah, and Eshean,
  53. Josh 15:53 And Janum, and Bethtappuah, and Aphekah,
  54. Josh 15:54 And Humtah, and Kirjatharba, which is Hebron, and Zior; nine cities with their villages:
  55. Josh 15:55 Maon, Carmel, and Ziph, and Juttah,
  56. Josh 15:56 And Jezreel, and Jokdeam, and Zanoah,
  57. Josh 15:57 Cain, Gibeah, and Timnah; ten cities with their villages:
  58. Josh 15:58 Halhul, Bethzur, and Gedor,
  59. Josh 15:59 And Maarath, and Bethanoth, and Eltekon; six cities with their villages:
  60. Josh 15:60 Kirjathbaal, which is Kirjathjearim, and Rabbah; two cities with their villages:
  61. Josh 15:61 In the wilderness, Betharabah, Middin, and Secacah,
  62. Josh 15:62 And Nibshan, and the city of Salt, and Engedi; six cities with their villages.
  63. Josh 15:63 As for the Jebusites the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the children of Judah could not drive them out; but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Judah at Jerusalem unto this day.
