Mzm 63:1 Mazmur Daud, ketika ia ada di padang gurun Yehuda. (63-2) Ya Allah, Engkaulah Allahku, aku mencari Engkau, jiwaku haus kepada-Mu, tubuhku rindu kepada-Mu, seperti tanah yang kering dan tandus, tiada berair.
Mzm 63:2 (63-3) Demikianlah aku memandang kepada-Mu di tempat kudus, sambil melihat kekuatan-Mu dan kemuliaan-Mu.
Mzm 63:3 (63-4) Sebab kasih setia-Mu lebih baik dari pada hidup; bibirku akan memegahkan Engkau.
Mzm 63:4 (63-5) Demikianlah aku mau memuji Engkau seumur hidupku dan menaikkan tanganku demi nama-Mu.
Mzm 63:5 (63-6) Seperti dengan lemak dan sumsum jiwaku dikenyangkan, dan dengan bibir yang bersorak-sorai mulutku memuji-muji.
Mzm 63:6 (63-7) Apabila aku ingat kepada-Mu di tempat tidurku, merenungkan Engkau sepanjang kawal malam, --
Mzm 63:7 (63-8) sungguh Engkau telah menjadi pertolonganku, dan dalam naungan sayap-Mu aku bersorak-sorai.
Mzm 63:8 (63-9) Jiwaku melekat kepada-Mu, tangan kanan-Mu menopang aku.
Mzm 63:9 (63-10) Tetapi orang-orang yang berikhtiar mencabut nyawaku, akan masuk ke bagian-bagian bumi yang paling bawah.
Mzm 63:10 (63-11) Mereka akan diserahkan kepada kuasa pedang, mereka akan menjadi makanan anjing hutan.
Mzm 63:11 (63-12) Tetapi raja akan bersukacita di dalam Allah; setiap orang, yang bersumpah demi Dia, akan bermegah, karena mulut orang-orang yang mengatakan dusta akan disumbat.
Ps 63:1 O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
Ps 63:2 To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.
Ps 63:3 Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.
Ps 63:4 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.
Ps 63:5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:
Ps 63:6 When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.
Ps 63:7 Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.
Ps 63:8 My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.
Ps 63:9 But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.
Ps 63:10 They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.
Ps 63:11 But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.
