Mzm 53:1 Untuk pemimpin biduan. Menurut lagu: Mahalat. Nyanyian pengajaran Daud. (53-2) Orang bebal berkata dalam hatinya: "Tidak ada Allah!" Busuk dan jijik kecurangan mereka, tidak ada yang berbuat baik.
Mzm 53:2 (53-3) Allah memandang ke bawah dari sorga kepada anak-anak manusia, untuk melihat apakah ada yang berakal budi dan yang mencari Allah.
Mzm 53:3 (53-4) Mereka semua telah menyimpang, sekaliannya telah bejat; tidak ada yang berbuat baik, seorangpun tidak.
Mzm 53:4 (53-5) Tidak sadarkah orang-orang yang melakukan kejahatan, yang memakan habis umat-Ku seperti memakan roti, dan yang tidak berseru kepada Allah?
Mzm 53:5 (53-6) Di sanalah mereka ditimpa kekejutan yang besar, padahal tidak ada yang mengejutkan; sebab Allah menghamburkan tulang-tulang para pengepungmu; mereka akan dipermalukan, sebab Allah telah menolak mereka.
Mzm 53:6 (53-7) Ya, datanglah kiranya dari Sion keselamatan bagi Israel! Apabila Allah memulihkan keadaan umat-Nya, maka Yakub akan bersorak-sorak, Israel akan bersukacita.
Ps 53:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.
Ps 53:2 God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.
Ps 53:3 Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
Ps 53:4 Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.
Ps 53:5 There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.
Ps 53:6 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
