Mzm 48:1 Nyanyian. Mazmur bani Korah. (48-2) Besarlah TUHAN dan sangat terpuji di kota Allah kita!
Mzm 48:2 (48-3) Gunung-Nya yang kudus, yang menjulang permai, adalah kegirangan bagi seluruh bumi; gunung Sion itu, jauh di sebelah utara, kota Raja Besar.
Mzm 48:3 (48-4) Dalam puri-purinya Allah memperkenalkan diri-Nya sebagai benteng.
Mzm 48:4 (48-5) Sebab lihat, raja-raja datang berkumpul, mereka bersama-sama berjalan maju;
Mzm 48:5 (48-6) demi mereka melihatnya, mereka tercengang-cengang, terkejut, lalu lari kebingungan.
Mzm 48:6 (48-7) Kegentaran menimpa mereka di sana; mereka kesakitan seperti perempuan yang hendak melahirkan.
Mzm 48:7 (48-8) Dengan angin timur Engkau memecahkan kapal-kapal Tarsis.

Mzm 48:10 (48-11) Seperti nama-Mu, ya Allah, demikianlah kemasyhuran-Mu sampai ke ujung bumi; tangan kanan-Mu penuh dengan keadilan.
Mzm 48:11 (48-12) Biarlah gunung Sion bersukacita; biarlah anak-anak perempuan Yehuda bersorak-sorak oleh karena penghukuman-Mu!
Mzm 48:12 (48-13) Kelilingilah Sion dan edarilah dia, hitunglah menaranya,
Mzm 48:13 (48-14) perhatikanlah temboknya, jalanilah puri-purinya, supaya kamu dapat menceriterakannya kepada angkatan yang kemudian:
Mzm 48:14 (48-15) Sesungguhnya inilah Allah, Allah kitalah Dia seterusnya dan untuk selamanya! Dialah yang memimpin kita!
Ps 48:1 Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.
Ps 48:2 Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.
Ps 48:3 God is known in her palaces for a refuge.
Ps 48:4 For, lo, the kings were assembled, they passed by together.
Ps 48:5 They saw it, and so they marvelled; they were troubled, and hasted away.
Ps 48:6 Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail.
Ps 48:7 Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish with an east wind.
Ps 48:8 As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. Selah.
Ps 48:9 We have thought of thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.
Ps 48:10 According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.
Ps 48:11 Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments.
Ps 48:12 Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof.
Ps 48:13 Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following.
Ps 48:14 For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.
