  1. Nyanyian syukur Daud

  2. Mzm 18:1 Untuk pemimpin biduan. Dari hamba TUHAN, yakni Daud yang menyampaikan perkataan nyanyian ini kepada TUHAN, pada waktu TUHAN telah melepaskan dia dari cengkeraman semua musuhnya dan dari tangan Saul. (18:2) Ia berkata: "Aku mengasihi Engkau, ya TUHAN, kekuatanku!
  3. Mzm 18:2 (18-3) Ya TUHAN, bukit batuku, kubu pertahananku dan penyelamatku, Allahku, gunung batuku, tempat aku berlindung, perisaiku, tanduk keselamatanku, kota bentengku!
  4. Mzm 18:3 (18-4) Terpujilah TUHAN, seruku; maka akupun selamat dari pada musuhku.
  5. Mzm 18:4 (18-5) Tali-tali maut telah meliliti aku, dan banjir-banjir jahanam telah menimpa aku,
  6. Mzm 18:5 (18-6) tali-tali dunia orang mati telah membelit aku, perangkap-perangkap maut terpasang di depanku.
  7. Mzm 18:6 (18-7) Ketika aku dalam kesesakan, aku berseru kepada TUHAN, kepada Allahku aku berteriak minta tolong. Ia mendengar suaraku dari bait-Nya, teriakku minta tolong kepada-Nya sampai ke telinga-Nya.
  8. Mzm 18:7 (18-8) Lalu goyang dan goncanglah bumi, dan dasar-dasar gunung gemetar dan goyang, oleh karena menyala-nyala murka-Nya.
  9. Mzm 18:8 (18-9) Asap membubung dari hidung-Nya, api menjilat keluar dari mulut-Nya, bara menyala keluar dari pada-Nya.
  10. Mzm 18:9 (18-10) Ia menekukkan langit, lalu turun, kekelaman ada di bawah kaki-Nya.
  11. Mzm 18:10 (18-11) Ia mengendarai kerub, lalu terbang dan melayang di atas sayap angin.
  12. Mzm 18:11 (18-12) Ia membuat kegelapan di sekeliling-Nya menjadi persembunyian-Nya, ya, menjadi pondok-Nya: air hujan yang gelap, awan yang tebal.
  13. Mzm 18:12 (18-13) Karena sinar di hadapan-Nya hilanglah awan-awan-Nya bersama hujan es dan bara api.
  14. Mzm 18:13 (18-14) Maka TUHAN mengguntur di langit, Yang Mahatinggi memperdengarkan suara-Nya.
  15. Mzm 18:14 (18-15) Dilepaskan-Nya panah-panah-Nya, sehingga diserakkan-Nya mereka, kilat bertubi-tubi, sehingga dikacaukan-Nya mereka.
  16. Mzm 18:15 (18-16) Lalu kelihatanlah dasar-dasar lautan, dan tersingkaplah alas-alas dunia karena hardik-Mu, ya TUHAN, karena hembusan nafas dari hidung-Mu.
  17. Mzm 18:16 (18-17) Ia menjangkau dari tempat tinggi, mengambil aku, menarik aku dari banjir.
  18. Mzm 18:17 (18-18) Ia melepaskan aku dari musuhku yang gagah dan dari orang-orang yang membenci aku, karena mereka terlalu kuat bagiku.
  19. Mzm 18:18 (18-19) Mereka menghadang aku pada hari sialku, tetapi TUHAN menjadi sandaran bagiku;
  20. Mzm 18:19 (18-20) Ia membawa aku ke luar ke tempat lapang, Ia menyelamatkan aku, karena Ia berkenan kepadaku.
  21. Mzm 18:20 (18-21) TUHAN memperlakukan aku sesuai dengan kebenaranku, Ia membalas kepadaku sesuai dengan kesucian tanganku,
  22. Mzm 18:21 (18-22) sebab aku tetap mengikuti jalan TUHAN dan tidak berlaku fasik terhadap Allahku.
  23. Mzm 18:22 (18-23) Sebab segala hukum-Nya kuperhatikan, dan ketetapan-Nya tidaklah kujauhkan dari padaku;
  24. Mzm 18:23 (18-24) aku berlaku tidak bercela di hadapan-Nya, dan menjaga diri terhadap kesalahan.
  25. Mzm 18:24 (18-25) Karena itu TUHAN membalas kepadaku sesuai dengan kebenaranku, sesuai dengan kesucian tanganku di depan mata-Nya.
  26. Mzm 18:25 (18-26) Terhadap orang yang setia Engkau berlaku setia, terhadap orang yang tidak bercela Engkau berlaku tidak bercela,
  27. Mzm 18:26 (18-27) terhadap orang yang suci Engkau berlaku suci, tetapi terhadap orang yang bengkok Engkau berlaku belat-belit.
  28. Mzm 18:27 (18-28) Karena Engkaulah yang menyelamatkan bangsa yang tertindas, tetapi orang yang memandang dengan congkak Kaurendahkan.
  29. Mzm 18:28 (18-29) Karena Engkaulah yang membuat pelitaku bercahaya; TUHAN, Allahku, menyinari kegelapanku.
  30. Mzm 18:29 (18-30) Karena dengan Engkau aku berani menghadapi gerombolan, dan dengan Allahku aku berani melompati tembok.
  31. Mzm 18:30 (18-31) Adapun Allah, jalan-Nya sempurna; janji TUHAN adalah murni; Dia menjadi perisai bagi semua orang yang berlindung pada-Nya.
  32. Mzm 18:31 (18-32) Sebab siapakah Allah selain dari TUHAN, dan siapakah gunung batu kecuali Allah kita?
  33. Mzm 18:32 (18-33) Allah, Dialah yang mengikat pinggangku dengan keperkasaan dan membuat jalanku rata;
  34. Mzm 18:33 (18-34) yang membuat kakiku seperti kaki rusa dan membuat aku berdiri di bukit;
  35. Mzm 18:34 (18-35) yang mengajar tanganku berperang, sehingga lenganku dapat melenturkan busur tembaga.
  36. Mzm 18:35 (18-36) Kauberikan kepadaku perisai keselamatan-Mu, tangan kanan-Mu menyokong aku, kemurahan-Mu membuat aku besar.
  37. Mzm 18:36 (18-37) Kauberikan tempat lapang untuk langkahku, dan mata kakiku tidak goyah.
  38. Mzm 18:37 (18-38) Aku mengejar musuhku sampai kutangkap mereka, dan tidak berbalik sebelum mereka kuhabiskan;
  39. Mzm 18:38 (18-39) aku meremukkan mereka, sehingga mereka tidak dapat bangkit lagi; mereka rebah di bawah kakiku.
  40. Mzm 18:39 (18-40) Engkau telah mengikat pinggangku dengan keperkasaan untuk berperang; Engkau tundukkan ke bawah kuasaku orang yang bangkit melawan aku.
  41. Mzm 18:40 (18-41) Kaubuat musuhku lari dari padaku, dan orang-orang yang membenci aku kubinasakan.
  42. Mzm 18:41 (18-42) Mereka berteriak minta tolong, tetapi tidak ada yang menyelamatkan, mereka berteriak kepada TUHAN, tetapi Ia tidak menjawab mereka.
  43. Mzm 18:42 (18-43) Aku menggiling mereka halus-halus seperti debu di depan angin, mencampakkan mereka seperti lumpur di jalan.
  44. Mzm 18:43 (18-44) Engkau meluputkan aku dari perbantahan rakyat; Engkau mengangkat aku menjadi kepala atas bangsa-bangsa; bangsa yang tidak kukenal menjadi hambaku;
  45. Mzm 18:44 (18-45) baru saja telinga mereka mendengar, mereka taat kepadaku; orang-orang asing tunduk menjilat aku.
  46. Mzm 18:45 (18-46) Orang-orang asing pucat layu dan keluar dari kota kubunya dengan gemetar.
  47. Mzm 18:46 (18-47) TUHAN hidup! Terpujilah gunung batuku, dan mulialah Allah Penyelamatku,
  48. Mzm 18:47 (18-48) Allah, yang telah mengadakan pembalasan bagiku, yang telah menaklukkan bangsa-bangsa ke bawah kuasaku,
  49. Mzm 18:48 (18-49) yang telah meluputkan aku dari pada musuhku. Bahkan, Engkau telah meninggikan aku mengatasi mereka yang bangkit melawan aku; Engkau telah melepaskan aku dari orang yang melakukan kelaliman.
  50. Mzm 18:49 (18-50) Sebab itu aku mau menyanyikan syukur bagi-Mu di antara bangsa-bangsa, ya TUHAN, dan aku mau menyanyikan mazmur bagi nama-Mu.
  51. Mzm 18:50 (18-51) Ia mengaruniakan keselamatan yang besar kepada raja yang diangkat-Nya, dan menunjukkan kasih setia kepada orang yang diurapi-Nya, yaitu Daud dan kepada anak cucunya untuk selamanya."
  1. Ps 18:1 I will love thee, O LORD, my strength.
  2. Ps 18:2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
  3. Ps 18:3 I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
  4. Ps 18:4 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.
  5. Ps 18:5 The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me.
  6. Ps 18:6 In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.
  7. Ps 18:7 Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth.
  8. Ps 18:8 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.
  9. Ps 18:9 He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness was under his feet.
  10. Ps 18:10 And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind.
  11. Ps 18:11 He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.
  12. Ps 18:12 At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, hail stones and coals of fire.
  13. Ps 18:13 The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire.
  14. Ps 18:14 Yea, he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; and he shot out lightnings, and discomfited them.
  15. Ps 18:15 Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils.
  16. Ps 18:16 He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters.
  17. Ps 18:17 He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me.
  18. Ps 18:18 They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay.
  19. Ps 18:19 He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.
  20. Ps 18:20 The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.
  21. Ps 18:21 For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
  22. Ps 18:22 For all his judgments were before me, and I did not put away his statutes from me.
  23. Ps 18:23 I was also upright before him, and I kept myself from mine iniquity.
  24. Ps 18:24 Therefore hath the LORD recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight.
  25. Ps 18:25 With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright;
  26. Ps 18:26 With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward.
  27. Ps 18:27 For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt bring down high looks.
  28. Ps 18:28 For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.
  29. Ps 18:29 For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.
  30. Ps 18:30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
  31. Ps 18:31 For who is God save the LORD? or who is a rock save our God?
  32. Ps 18:32 It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.
  33. Ps 18:33 He maketh my feet like hinds' feet, and setteth me upon my high places.
  34. Ps 18:34 He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
  35. Ps 18:35 Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.
  36. Ps 18:36 Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.
  37. Ps 18:37 I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed.
  38. Ps 18:38 I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet.
  39. Ps 18:39 For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.
  40. Ps 18:40 Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me.
  41. Ps 18:41 They cried, but there was none to save them: even unto the LORD, but he answered them not.
  42. Ps 18:42 Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets.
  43. Ps 18:43 Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me.
  44. Ps 18:44 As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.
  45. Ps 18:45 The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places.
  46. Ps 18:46 The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.
  47. Ps 18:47 It is God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me.
  48. Ps 18:48 He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
  49. Ps 18:49 Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name.
  50. Ps 18:50 Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.
