  1. PERCAKAPAN AYUB DENGAN SAHABAT-SAHABATNYA PASAL 4--31 Elifas menegur Ayub

  2. Ayb 4:1 Maka berbicaralah Elifas, orang Teman:
  3. Ayb 4:2 "Kesalkah engkau, bila orang mencoba berbicara kepadamu? Tetapi siapakah dapat tetap menutup mulutnya?
  4. Ayb 4:3 Sesungguhnya, engkau telah mengajar banyak orang, dan tangan yang lemah telah engkau kuatkan;
  5. Ayb 4:4 orang yang jatuh telah dibangunkan oleh kata-katamu, dan lutut yang lemas telah kaukokohkan;
  6. Ayb 4:5 tetapi sekarang, dirimu yang tertimpa, dan engkau kesal, dirimu terkena, dan engkau terkejut.
  7. Ayb 4:6 Bukankah takutmu akan Allah yang menjadi sandaranmu, dan kesalehan hidupmu menjadi pengharapanmu?
  8. Ayb 4:7 Camkanlah ini: siapa binasa dengan tidak bersalah dan di manakah orang yang jujur dipunahkan?
  9. Ayb 4:8 Yang telah kulihat ialah bahwa orang yang membajak kejahatan dan menabur kesusahan, ia menuainya juga.
  10. Ayb 4:9 Mereka binasa oleh nafas Allah, dan lenyap oleh hembusan hidung-Nya.
  11. Ayb 4:10 Singa mengaum, singa meraung--patahlah gigi singa-singa muda.
  12. Ayb 4:11 Singa binasa karena kekurangan mangsa, dan anak-anak singa betina bercerai-berai.
  13. Ayb 4:12 Suatu perkataan telah disampaikan kepadaku dengan diam-diam dan telingaku menangkap bisikannya,
  14. Ayb 4:13 waktu bermenung oleh sebab khayal malam, ketika tidur nyenyak menghinggapi orang.
  15. Ayb 4:14 Aku terkejut dan gentar, sehingga tulang-tulangku gemetar.
  16. Ayb 4:15 Suatu roh melewati aku, tegaklah bulu romaku.
  17. Ayb 4:16 Ia berhenti, tetapi rupanya tidak dapat kukenal. Suatu sosok ada di depan mataku, suara berbisik-bisik kudengar:
  18. Ayb 4:17 Mungkinkah seorang manusia benar di hadapan Allah, mungkinkah seseorang tahir di hadapan Penciptanya?
  19. Ayb 4:18 Sesungguhnya, hamba-hamba-Nya tidak dipercayai-Nya, malaikat-malaikat-Nyap didapati-Nya tersesat,
  20. Ayb 4:19 lebih-lebih lagi mereka yang diam dalam pondok tanah liat, yang dasarnya dalam debu, yang mati terpijat seperti gegat.
  21. Ayb 4:20 Di antara pagi dan petang mereka dihancurkan, dan tanpa dihiraukan mereka binasa untuk selama-lamanya.
  22. Ayb 4:21 Bukankah kemah mereka dicabut? Mereka mati, tetapi tanpa hikmat.
  1. Job 4:1 Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said,
  2. Job 4:2 If we assay to commune with thee, wilt thou be grieved? but who can withhold himself from speaking?
  3. Job 4:3 Behold, thou hast instructed many, and thou hast strengthened the weak hands.
  4. Job 4:4 Thy words have upholden him that was falling, and thou hast strengthened the feeble knees.
  5. Job 4:5 But now it is come upon thee, and thou faintest; it toucheth thee, and thou art troubled.
  6. Job 4:6 Is not this thy fear, thy confidence, thy hope, and the uprightness of thy ways?
  7. Job 4:7 Remember, I pray thee, who ever perished, being innocent? or where were the righteous cut off?
  8. Job 4:8 Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same.
  9. Job 4:9 By the blast of God they perish, and by the breath of his nostrils are they consumed.
  10. Job 4:10 The roaring of the lion, and the voice of the fierce lion, and the teeth of the young lions, are broken.
  11. Job 4:11 The old lion perisheth for lack of prey, and the stout lion's whelps are scattered abroad.
  12. Job 4:12 Now a thing was secretly brought to me, and mine ear received a little thereof.
  13. Job 4:13 In thoughts from the visions of the night, when deep sleep falleth on men,
  14. Job 4:14 Fear came upon me, and trembling, which made all my bones to shake.
  15. Job 4:15 Then a spirit passed before my face; the hair of my flesh stood up:
  16. Job 4:16 It stood still, but I could not discern the form thereof: an image was before mine eyes, there was silence, and I heard a voice, saying,
  17. Job 4:17 Shall mortal man be more just than God? shall a man be more pure than his maker?
  18. Job 4:18 Behold, he put no trust in his servants; and his angels he charged with folly:
  19. Job 4:19 How much less in them that dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, which are crushed before the moth?
  20. Job 4:20 They are destroyed from morning to evening: they perish for ever without any regarding it.
  21. Job 4:21 Doth not their excellency which is in them go away? they die, even without wisdom.
