Yeh 8:1 Pada tahun keenam, dalam bulan yang keenam, pada tanggal lima bulan itu, waktu aku duduk di rumahku berhadap-hadapan dengan para tua-tua Yehuda, kekuasaan Tuhan ALLAH meliputi aku di sana,
Yeh 8:2 dan aku menerima penglihatan: Sungguh, ada kelihatan yang menyerupai seorang laki-laki, dari yang menyerupai pinggangnya sampai ke bawah kelihatan seperti api dan dari pinggangnya ke atas kelihatan seperti cahaya, seperti suasa mengkilat.
Yeh 8:3 Dia mengulurkan sesuatu yang berbentuk tangan dan dipegang-Nya jambul kepalaku. Lalu Roh itu mengangkat aku ke antara langit dan bumi dan membawa aku dalam penglihatan-penglihatan ilahi ke Yerusalem dekat pintu gerbang pelataran dalam yang menghadap ke utara, di mana terdapat berhala cemburuan, yang menimbulkan cemburu itu.
Yeh 8:4 Lihat, di sana tampak kemuliaan Allah Israel, seperti penglihatan yang kulihat di lembah itu.
Yeh 8:5 Firman-Nya kepadaku: "Hai anak manusia, lihatlah ke utara!" Aku melihat ke utara, sungguh, di sebelah utara gerbang mezbah, dekat jalan masuk, terdapat berhala cemburuan tadi.
Yeh 8:6 Firman-Nya kepadaku: "Hai anak manusia, kaulihatkah apa yang mereka perbuat, yaitu perbuatan-perbuatan kekejian yang besar-besar, yang dilakukan oleh kaum Israel di sini, sehingga Aku harus menjauhkan diri dari tempat kudus-Ku? Engkau masih akan melihat perbuatan-perbuatan kekejian yang lebih besar lagi."
Yeh 8:7 Dan dibawa-Nya aku ke pintu pelataran, aku melihat, sungguh, ada sebuah lobang di dalam temboknya.
Yeh 8:8 Firman-Nya kepadaku: "Hai anak manusia, perbesarlah lobang yang di tembok itu!" Sesudah aku memperbesar lobang itu, lihat, ada sebuah pintu.
Yeh 8:9 Firman-Nya kepadaku: "Masuklah dan lihatlah perbuatan-perbuatan kekejian yang jahat, yang mereka lakukan di sini."
Yeh 8:10 Lalu aku masuk dan melihat, sungguh, segala gambar-gambar binatang melata dan binatang-binatang lain yang menjijikkan dan segala berhala-berhala kaum Israel terukir pada tembok sekelilingnya.
Yeh 8:11 Dan di hadapannya berdiri tujuh puluh orang tua-tua kaum Israel, dengan Yaazanya bin Safan di tengah-tengah mereka dan masing-masing memegang bokor ukupannya di tangannya, dan keharuman dari asap ukupan itu naik ke atas.
Yeh 8:12 Firman-Nya kepadaku: "Kaulihatkah, hai anak manusia, apa yang dilakukan oleh tua-tua kaum Israel di dalam kegelapan, masing-masing di dalam kamar tempat ukiran-ukiran mereka? Sebab mereka berkata: TUHAN tidak melihat kita; TUHAN sudah meninggalkan tanah ini."
Yeh 8:13 Ditambahkan-Nya lagi: "Engkau masih akan melihat perbuatan-perbuatan kekejian yang lebih besar lagi yang mereka lakukan."
Yeh 8:14 Lalu dibawa-Nya aku dekat pintu gerbang rumah TUHAN yang di sebelah utara, sungguh, di sana ada perempuan-perempuan yang menangisi dewa Tamus.
Yeh 8:15 Firman-Nya kepadaku: "Hai anak manusia, kaulihatkah apa yang mereka perbuat? Engkau masih akan melihat perbuatan-perbuatan kekejian yang lebih besar lagi dari pada ini."
Yeh 8:16 Kemudian dibawa-Nya aku ke pelataran dalam rumah TUHAN; sungguh, dekat jalan masuk ke bait TUHAN, di antara balai Bait Suci dan mezbah ada kira-kira dua puluh lima orang laki-laki, yang membelakangi bait TUHAN dan menghadap ke sebelah timur sambil sujud pada matahari di sebelah timur.
Yeh 8:17 Lalu firman-Nya kepadaku: "Kaulihatkah itu, hai anak manusia? Perkara kecilkah itu bagi kaum Yehuda untuk melakukan perbuatan-perbuatan kekejian yang mereka lakukan di sini, bahwa mereka memenuhi tanah ini dengan kekerasan dan dengan itu terus menyakiti hati-Ku? Sungguh, mereka berkelakuan tak senonoh di hadapan-Ku.
Yeh 8:18 Oleh karena itu Aku akan membalas di dalam kemurkaan-Ku. Aku tidak akan merasa sayang dan tidak akan kenal belas kasihan. Dan kalaupun mereka berseru-seru kepada-Ku dengan suara yang nyaring, Aku tidak akan mendengarkan mereka."
Ezek 8:1 And it came to pass in the sixth year, in the sixth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I sat in mine house, and the elders of Judah sat before me, that the hand of the Lord GOD fell there upon me.
Ezek 8:2 Then I beheld, and lo a likeness as the appearance of fire: from the appearance of his loins even downward, fire; and from his loins even upward, as the appearance of brightness, as the colour of amber.
Ezek 8:3 And he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward the north; where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy.
Ezek 8:4 And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there, according to the vision that I saw in the plain.
Ezek 8:5 Then said he unto me, Son of man, lift up thine eyes now the way toward the north. So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the north, and behold northward at the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry.
Ezek 8:6 He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations.
Ezek 8:7 And he brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, behold a hole in the wall.
Ezek 8:8 Then said he unto me, Son of man, dig now in the wall: and when I had digged in the wall, behold a door.
Ezek 8:9 And he said unto me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here.
Ezek 8:10 So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, pourtrayed upon the wall round about.
Ezek 8:11 And there stood before them seventy men of the ancients of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, with every man his censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense went up.
Ezek 8:12 Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, the LORD seeth us not; the LORD hath forsaken the earth.
Ezek 8:13 He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do.
Ezek 8:14 Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the LORD's house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.
Ezek 8:15 Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these.
Ezek 8:16 And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD's house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.
Ezek 8:17 Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.
Ezek 8:18 Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.
