Ul 23:1 "Orang yang hancur buah pelirnya atau yang terpotong kemaluannya, janganlah masuk jemaah TUHAN.
Ul 23:2 Seorang anak haram janganlah masuk jemaah TUHAN, bahkan keturunannya yang kesepuluhpun tidak boleh masuk jemaah TUHAN.
Ul 23:3 Seorang Amon atau seorang Moab janganlah masuk jemaah TUHAN, bahkan keturunannya yang kesepuluhpun tidak boleh masuk jemaah TUHAN sampai selama-lamanya,
Ul 23:4 karena mereka tidak menyongsong kamu dengan roti dan air pada waktu perjalananmu keluar dari Mesir, dan karena mereka mengupah Bileam bin Beor dari Petor di Aram-Mesopotamia melawan engkau, supaya dikutukinya engkau.
Ul 23:5 Tetapi TUHAN, Allahmu, tidak mau mendengarkan Bileam dan TUHAN, Allahmu, telah mengubah kutuk itu menjadi berkat bagimu, karena TUHAN, Allahmu, mengasihi engkau.
Ul 23:6 Selama engkau hidup, janganlah engkau mengikhtiarkan kesejahteraan dan kebahagiaan mereka sampai selama-lamanya.
Ul 23:7 Janganlah engkau menganggap keji orang Edom, sebab dia saudaramu. Janganlah engkau menganggap keji orang Mesir, sebab engkaupun dahulu adalah orang asing di negerinya.
Ul 23:8 Anak-anak yang lahir bagi mereka dalam keturunan yang ketiga, boleh masuk jemaah TUHAN."
Ketahiran perkemahan
Ul 23:9 "Apabila engkau maju dengan tentaramu melawan musuhmu, maka haruslah engkau menjaga diri terhadap segala yang jahat.
Ul 23:10 Apabila ada di antaramu seorang laki-laki yang tidak tahir disebabkan oleh sesuatu yang terjadi atasnya pada malam hari, maka haruslah ia pergi ke luar perkemahan, janganlah ia masuk ke dalam perkemahan.
Ul 23:11 Kemudian menjelang senja haruslah ia mandi dengan air, dan pada waktu matahari terbenam, ia boleh masuk kembali ke dalam perkemahan.
Ul 23:12 Di luar perkemahan itu haruslah ada bagimu suatu tempat ke mana engkau pergi untuk kada hajat.
Ul 23:13 Di antara perlengkapanmu haruslah ada padamu sekop kecil dan apabila engkau jongkok kada hajat, haruslah engkau menggali lobang dengan itu dan menimbuni kotoranmu.
Ul 23:14 Sebab TUHAN, Allahmu, berjalan dari tengah-tengah perkemahanmu untuk melepaskan engkau dan menyerahkan musuhmu kepadamu; sebab itu haruslah perkemahanmu itu kudus, supaya jangan Ia melihat sesuatu yang tidak senonoh di antaramu, lalu berbalik dari padamu."
Kesayangan terhadap budak yang melarikan diri
Ul 23:15 "Janganlah kauserahkan kepada tuannya seorang budak yang melarikan diri dari tuannya kepadamu.
Ul 23:16 Bersama-sama engkau ia boleh tinggal, di tengah-tengahmu, di tempat yang dipilihnya di salah satu tempatmu, yang dirasanya baik; janganlah engkau menindas dia."
Menentang persundalan di tempat kudus
Ul 23:17 "Di antara anak-anak perempuan Israel janganlah ada pelacur bakti, dan di antara anak-anak lelaki Israel janganlah ada semburit bakti.
Ul 23:18 Janganlah kaubawa upah sundal atau uang semburit ke dalam rumah TUHAN, Allahmu, untuk menepati salah satu nazar, sebab keduanya itu adalah kekejian bagi TUHAN, Allahmu."
Jangan memungut bunga dari seorang saudara sebangsa
Ul 23:19 "Janganlah engkau membungakan kepada saudaramu, baik uang maupun bahan makanan atau apapun yang dapat dibungakan.
Ul 23:20 Dari orang asing boleh engkau memungut bunga, tetapi dari saudaramu janganlah engkau memungut bunga--supaya TUHAN, Allahmu, memberkati engkau dalam segala usahamu di negeri yang engkau masuki untuk mendudukinya."
Tentang nazar
Ul 23:21 "Apabila engkau bernazar kepada TUHAN, Allahmu, janganlah engkau menunda-nunda memenuhinya, sebab tentulah TUHAN, Allahmu, akan menuntutnya dari padamu, sehingga hal itu menjadi dosa bagimu.
Ul 23:22 Tetapi apabila engkau tidak bernazar, maka hal itu bukan menjadi dosa bagimu.
Ul 23:23 Apa yang keluar dari bibirmu haruslah kaulakukan dengan setia, sebab dengan sukarela kaunazarkan kepada TUHAN, Allahmu, sesuatu yang kaukatakan dengan mulutmu sendiri."
Dari hal memetik buah anggur dan bulir gandum di tanah orang lain
Ul 23:24 "Apabila engkau melalui kebun anggur sesamamu, engkau boleh makan buah anggur sepuas-puas hatimu, tetapi tidak boleh kaumasukkan ke dalam bungkusanmu.
Ul 23:25 Apabila engkau melalui ladang gandum sesamamu yang belum dituai, engkau boleh memetik bulir-bulirnya dengan tanganmu, tetapi sabit tidak boleh kauayunkan kepada gandum sesamamu itu."
Deut 23:1 He that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD.
Deut 23:2 A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD.
Deut 23:3 An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of the LORD for ever:
Deut 23:4 Because they met you not with bread and with water in the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt; and because they hired against thee Balaam the son of Beor of Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee.
Deut 23:5 Nevertheless the LORD thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the LORD thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because the LORD thy God loved thee.
Deut 23:6 Thou shalt not seek their peace nor their prosperity all thy days for ever.
Deut 23:7 Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite; for he is thy brother: thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian; because thou wast a stranger in his land.
Deut 23:8 The children that are begotten of them shall enter into the congregation of the LORD in their third generation.
Deut 23:9 When the host goeth forth against thine enemies, then keep thee from every wicked thing.
Deut 23:10 If there be among you any man, that is not clean by reason of uncleanness that chanceth him by night, then shall he go abroad out of the camp, he shall not come within the camp:
Deut 23:11 But it shall be, when evening cometh on, he shall wash himself with water: and when the sun is down, he shall come into the camp again.
Deut 23:12 Thou shalt have a place also without the camp, whither thou shalt go forth abroad:
Deut 23:13 And thou shalt have a paddle upon thy weapon; and it shall be, when thou wilt ease thyself abroad, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which cometh from thee:
Deut 23:14 For the LORD thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.
Deut 23:15 Thou shalt not deliver unto his master the servant which is escaped from his master unto thee:
Deut 23:16 He shall dwell with thee, even among you, in that place which he shall choose in one of thy gates, where it liketh him best: thou shalt not oppress him.
Deut 23:17 There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.
Deut 23:18 Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of the LORD thy God for any vow: for even both these are abomination unto the LORD thy God.
Deut 23:19 Thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury of money, usury of victuals, usury of any thing that is lent upon usury:
Deut 23:20 Unto a stranger thou mayest lend upon usury; but unto thy brother thou shalt not lend upon usury: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all that thou settest thine hand to in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
Deut 23:21 When thou shalt vow a vow unto the LORD thy God, thou shalt not slack to pay it: for the LORD thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee.
Deut 23:22 But if thou shalt forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in thee.
Deut 23:23 That which is gone out of thy lips thou shalt keep and perform; even a freewill offering, according as thou hast vowed unto the LORD thy God, which thou hast promised with thy mouth.
Deut 23:24 When thou comest into thy neighbor's vineyard, then thou mayest eat grapes thy fill at thine own pleasure; but thou shalt not put any in thy vessel.
Deut 23:25 When thou comest into the standing corn of thy neighbor, then thou mayest pluck the ears with thine hand; but thou shalt not move a sickle unto thy neighbor's standing corn.
