Bil 4:2 "Hitunglah jumlah bani Kehat sebagai suatu golongan tersendiri di antara bani Lewi, menurut kaum-kaum yang ada dalam puak mereka.
Bil 4:3 Hitunglah yang berumur tiga puluh tahun ke atas sampai yang berumur lima puluh tahun, semua orang yang kena wajib tugas, supaya mereka melakukan pekerjaan di Kemah Pertemuan.
Bil 4:4 Pekerjaan jabatan orang Kehat di Kemah Pertemuan ialah mengurus barang-barang yang maha kudus.
Bil 4:5 Kalau perkemahan akan berangkat, haruslah Harun dan anak-anaknya masuk ke dalam untuk menurunkan tabir penudung, dan menudungkannya kepada tabut hukum.
Bil 4:6 Di atasnya mereka harus meletakkan tutup dari kulit lumba-lumba, dan di atasnya lagi mereka harus membentangkan sehelai kain yang seluruhnya ungu tua, kemudian mereka harus memasang kayu-kayu pengusung tabut itu.
Bil 4:7 Lagipula di atas meja roti sajian mereka harus membentangkan sehelai kain ungu tua, dan di atasnya mereka harus meletakkan pinggan, cawan, piala dan kendi korban curahan; juga roti sajian harus tetap ada di atasnya.
Bil 4:8 Di atas semuanya itu mereka harus membentangkan sehelai kain kirmizi, lalu menudungnya dengan tudung dari kulit lumba-lumba, kemudian mereka harus memasang kayu-kayu pengusung meja itu.
Bil 4:9 Lalu mereka harus mengambil sehelai kain ungu tua dan menudungkannya kepada kandil untuk penerangan dengan lampu-lampunya, sepit-sepit dan penadah-penadahnya, dan segala perkakas minyaknya yang dipakai untuk mengurus kandil itu.
Bil 4:10 Dan mereka harus meletakkannya dengan segala perkakasnya ke atas tudung dengan dari kulit lumba-lumba dan meletakkannya di atas usungan.
Bil 4:11 Di atas mezbah dari emas itu mereka harus membentangkan sehelai kain ungu tua dan menudunginya dengan tudung dari kulit lumba-lumba, kemudian mereka harus memasang kayu-kayu pengusung mezbah itu.
Bil 4:12 Lalu mereka harus mengambil segala perkakas yang dipakai untuk menyelenggarakan kebaktian di tempat kudus, meletakkannya di atas sehelai kain ungu tua dan menudunginya dengan tudung dari kulit lumba-lumba, kemudian meletakkannya di atas usungan.
Bil 4:13 Dan mereka harus membersihkan mezbah itu dari abu, lalu membentangkan sehelai kain ungu muda di atasnya,
Bil 4:14 sesudah itu meletakkan di atasnya segala perkakasnya yang dipakai untuk mengurusnya, yakni perbaraan, garpu, penyodok, bokor penyiraman, segala perkakas mezbah itu, dan di atasnya mereka harus membentangkan tutup dari kulit lumba-lumba, kemudian mereka harus memasang kayu-kayu pengusung mezbah itu.
Bil 4:15 Setelah Harun dan anak-anaknya selesai menudungi barang-barang kudus dan segala perkakas tempat kudus, pada waktu perkemahan akan berangkat, barulah orang Kehat boleh masuk ke dalam untuk mengangkat barang-barang itu; tetapi janganlah mereka kena kepada barang-barang kudus itu, nanti mereka mati. Jadi itulah barang-barang di Kemah Pertemuan yang harus diangkat bani Kehat.
Bil 4:16 Tetapi Eleazar, anak imam Harun, bertanggung jawab atas minyak untuk penerangan, ukupan dari wangi-wangian, korban sajian yang tetap dan minyak urapan; ia bertanggung jawab atas segenap Kemah Suci dan segala isinya, yakni barang-barang kudus dan perabotannya."
Bil 4:17 TUHAN berfirman kepada Musa dan Harun:
Bil 4:18 "Perhatikanlah supaya puak Kehat dan kaum-kaumnya jangan musnah binasa dari tengah-tengah orang Lewi.
Bil 4:19 Inilah yang harus kamu lakukan bagi mereka, supaya mereka tinggal hidup dan jangan mati, apabila mereka mendekat ke barang-barang maha kudus: Harun dan anak-anaknya haruslah masuk ke dalam dan menempatkan mereka masing-masing di tempat tugasnya dekat barang yang harus diangkat.
Bil 4:20 Tetapi janganlah orang Kehat masuk ke dalam untuk melihat barang-barang kudus itu walau sesaatpun, nanti mereka mati."
Bil 4:21 TUHAN berfirman kepada Musa:
Bil 4:22 "Hitunglah juga jumlah bani Gerson menurut puak dan kaum-kaum mereka.
Bil 4:23 Catatlah mereka yang berumur tiga puluh tahun ke atas sampai yang berumur lima puluh tahun, yakni setiap orang yang wajib tugas, supaya mereka melakukan pekerjaan jabatan di Kemah Pertemuan.
Bil 4:24 Inilah tugas kaum-kaum Gerson dalam hal pekerjaan jabatan dan pengangkatan barang itu:
Bil 4:25 mereka harus mengangkat tenda-tenda Kemah Suci, dan Kemah Pertemuan tudungnya dan tudung dari kulit lumba-lumba yang ada di atasnya, tirai pintu Kemah Pertemuan,
Bil 4:26 layar-layar pelataran dan tirai pintu gerbang pelataran yang ada sekeliling Kemah Suci dan mezbah, dengan talinya dan segala perkakas untuk pekerjaan jabatan mereka; dan mereka harus melakukan segala tugas yang perlu berkenaan dengan semuanya itu.
Bil 4:27 Seluruh pekerjaan jabatan bani Gerson harus dilakukan sesuai dengan perintah Harun dan anak-anaknya, yakni segala tugas pengangkatan barang dan pekerjaan jabatan itu; kamu harus membuat mereka penanggung jawab atas segala yang harus diangkat mereka.
Bil 4:28 Itulah tugas kaum-kaum bani Gerson di Kemah Pertemuan. Mereka harus mengerjakan di bawah pimpinan Itamar, anak imam Harun itu.
Bil 4:29 Orang Merari haruslah kaucatat menurut kaum-kaum yang ada dalam puak mereka.
Bil 4:30 Catatlah mereka yang berumur tiga puluh tahun ke atas sampai yang berumur lima puluh tahun, yakni setiap orang yang kena wajib tugas, supaya mereka melakukan pekerjaan jabatan pada Kemah Pertemuan.
Bil 4:31 Inilah yang wajib diangkat mereka berhubung dengan seluruh pekerjaan jabatan mereka di Kemah Pertemuan: papan-papan Kemah Suci, kayu-kayu lintangnya, tiang-tiangnya, alas-alasnya,
Bil 4:32 tiang-tiang pelataran sekelilingnya, alas-alasnya, patok-patok dan tali-talinya, serta segala perkakasnya; semuanya termasuk tugas mereka. Dengan terperinci haruslah kamu tunjuk perkakas yang wajib diangkat mereka itu.
Bil 4:33 Itulah tugas kaum-kaum bani Merari, yakni seluruh pekerjaan jabatan mereka di Kemah Pertemuan, yang harus dilakukan di bawah pimpinan Itamar, anak imam Harun."
Bil 4:34 Demikianlah Musa dan Harun dengan para pemimpin umat Israel mencatat bani Kehat menurut kaum-kaum yang ada dalam puak mereka,
Bil 4:35 yakni orang-orang yang berumur tiga puluh tahun ke atas sampai yang berumur lima puluh tahun, setiap orang yang kena wajib tugas berhubung dengan pekerjaan jabatan di Kemah Pertemuan.
Bil 4:36 Maka jumlah pencatatan mereka menurut kaum-kaum mereka ada dua ribu tujuh ratus lima puluh orang.
Bil 4:37 Itulah orang-orang yang dicatat dari kaum-kaum Kehat, semua orang yang melakukan pekerjaan jabatan di Kemah Pertemuan, yakni mereka yang dicatat oleh Musa dan Harun, sesuai dengan titah TUHAN dengan perantaraan Musa.
Bil 4:38 Bani Gerson yang dicatat menurut kaum-kaum yang ada dalam puak mereka,
Bil 4:39 yaitu orang-orang yang berumur tiga puluh tahun ke atas sampai yang berumur lima puluh tahun, setiap orang yang kena wajib tugas berhubung dengan pekerjaan jabatan di Kemah Pertemuan,
Bil 4:40 jadi mereka yang dicatat menurut kaum-kaum yang ada dalam puak mereka, berjumlah dua ribu enam ratus tiga puluh orang.
Bil 4:41 Itulah jumlah pencatatan kaum-kaum bani Gerson, semua orang yang melakukan pekerjaan jabatan di Kemah Pertemuan, yakni mereka yang dicatat oleh Musa dan Harun sesuai dengan titah TUHAN.
Bil 4:42 Bani Merari yang dicatat menurut kaum-kaum yang ada dalam puak mereka,
Bil 4:43 yaitu orang-orang yang berumur tiga puluh tahun ke atas sampai yang berumur lima puluh tahun, setiap orang yang kena wajib tugas berhubung dengan pekerjaan jabatan di Kemah Pertemuan,
Bil 4:44 jadi mereka yang dicatat menurut kaum-kaum mereka, berjumlah tiga ribu dua ratus orang.
Bil 4:45 Itulah jumlah pencatatan kaum-kaum bani Merari, yakni mereka yang dicatat oleh Musa dan Harun, sesuai dengan titah TUHAN dengan perantaraan Musa.
Bil 4:46 Semua orang Lewi yang dicatat oleh Musa dan Harun dengan para pemimpin Israel menurut kaum-kaum yang ada dalam puak-puak mereka,
Bil 4:47 yakni orang-orang yang berumur tiga puluh tahun ke atas sampai yang berumur lima puluh tahun, setiap orang yang wajib melakukan pekerjaan jabatan di Kemah Pertemuan dan pekerjaan pengangkatan barang,
Bil 4:48 jadi mereka yang dicatat, berjumlah delapan ribu lima ratus delapan puluh orang.
Bil 4:49 Sesuai dengan titah TUHAN dengan perantaraan Musa, maka mereka masing-masing dibuat penanggung jawab atas apa yang harus dikerjakan dan diangkatnya. Demikianlah mereka dicatat, seperti yang diperintahkan TUHAN kepada Musa.
Num 4:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
Num 4:2 Take the sum of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, after their families, by the house of their fathers,
Num 4:3 From thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all that enter into the host, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.
Num 4:4 This shall be the service of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation, about the most holy things:
Num 4:5 And when the camp setteth forward, Aaron shall come, and his sons, and they shall take down the covering vail, and cover the ark of testimony with it:
Num 4:6 And shall put thereon the covering of badgers' skins, and shall spread over it a cloth wholly of blue, and shall put in the staves thereof.
Num 4:7 And upon the table of showbread they shall spread a cloth of blue, and put thereon the dishes, and the spoons, and the bowls, and covers to cover withal: and the continual bread shall be thereon:
Num 4:8 And they shall spread upon them a cloth of scarlet, and cover the same with a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put in the staves thereof.
Num 4:9 And they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candlestick of the light, and his lamps, and his tongs, and his snuffdishes, and all the oil vessels thereof, wherewith they minister unto it:
Num 4:10 And they shall put it and all the vessels thereof within a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put it upon a bar.
Num 4:11 And upon the golden altar they shall spread a cloth of blue, and cover it with a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put to the staves thereof:
Num 4:12 And they shall take all the instruments of ministry, wherewith they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a cloth of blue, and cover them with a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put them on a bar:
Num 4:13 And they shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth thereon:
Num 4:14 And they shall put upon it all the vessels thereof, wherewith they minister about it, even the censers, the fleshhooks, and the shovels, and the basins, all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread upon it a covering of badgers' skins, and put to the staves of it.
Num 4:15 And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation.
Num 4:16 And to the office of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest pertaineth the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the daily meat offering, and the anointing oil, and the oversight of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein is, in the sanctuary, and in the vessels thereof.
Num 4:17 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron saying,
Num 4:18 Cut ye not off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites:
Num 4:19 But thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden:
Num 4:20 But they shall not go in to see when the holy things are covered, lest they die.
Num 4:21 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Num 4:22 Take also the sum of the sons of Gershon, throughout the houses of their fathers, by their families;
Num 4:23 From thirty years old and upward until fifty years old shalt thou number them; all that enter in to perform the service, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.
Num 4:24 This is the service of the families of the Gershonites, to serve, and for burdens:
Num 4:25 And they shall bear the curtains of the tabernacle, and the tabernacle of the congregation, his covering, and the covering of the badgers' skins that is above upon it, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,
Num 4:26 And the hangings of the court, and the hanging for the door of the gate of the court, which is by the tabernacle and by the altar round about, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and all that is made for them: so shall they serve.
Num 4:27 At the appointment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burdens, and in all their service: and ye shall appoint unto them in charge all their burdens.
Num 4:28 This is the service of the families of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation: and their charge shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
Num 4:29 As for the sons of Merari, thou shalt number them after their families, by the house of their fathers;
Num 4:30 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old shalt thou number them, every one that entereth into the service, to do the work of the tabernacle of the congregation.
Num 4:31 And this is the charge of their burden, according to all their service in the tabernacle of the congregation; the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and sockets thereof,
Num 4:32 And the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their service: and by name ye shall reckon the instruments of the charge of their burden.
Num 4:33 This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service, in the tabernacle of the congregation, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
Num 4:34 And Moses and Aaron and the chief of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites after their families, and after the house of their fathers,
Num 4:35 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation:
Num 4:36 And those that were numbered of them by their families were two thousand seven hundred and fifty.
Num 4:37 These were they that were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, which Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
Num 4:38 And those that were numbered of the sons of Gershon, throughout their families, and by the house of their fathers,
Num 4:39 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation,
Num 4:40 Even those that were numbered of them, throughout their families, by the house of their fathers, were two thousand and six hundred and thirty.
Num 4:41 These are they that were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, of all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, whom Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD.
Num 4:42 And those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, throughout their families, by the house of their fathers,
Num 4:43 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation,
Num 4:44 Even those that were numbered of them after their families, were three thousand and two hundred.
Num 4:45 These be those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
Num 4:46 All those that were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron and the chief of Israel numbered, after their families, and after the house of their fathers,
Num 4:47 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that came to do the service of the ministry, and the service of the burden in the tabernacle of the congregation.
Num 4:48 Even those that were numbered of them, were eight thousand and five hundred and fourscore,
Num 4:49 According to the commandment of the LORD they were numbered by the hand of Moses, every one according to his service, and according to his burden: thus were they numbered of him, as the LORD commanded Moses.
