1 Tawarikh 11

  1. Daud menjadi raja atas Israel

    2Sam. 5:1-5
  2. 1tawarikh 11:1 Lalu berkumpullah seluruh Israel kepada Daud di Hebron dan berkata: "Ketahuilah, kami ini darah dagingmu.
  3. 1tawarikh 11:2 Telah lama, ketika Saul memerintah, engkaulah yang memimpin segala gerakan orang Israel. Dan TUHAN, Allahmu, telah berfirman kepadamu: Engkaulah yang harus menggembalakan umat-Ku Israel, dan engkaulah yang menjadi raja atas umat-Ku Israel."
  4. 1tawarikh 11:3 Maka datanglah semua tua-tua Israel menghadap raja di Hebron, lalu Daud mengadakan perjanjian dengan mereka di Hebron di hadapan TUHAN, kemudian mereka mengurapi Daud menjadi raja atas Israel, seperti yang difirmankan TUHAN dengan perantaraan Samuel.

  5. Daud merebut Yerusalem dan menetap di sana

    2Sam. 5:6-10
  6. 1tawarikh 11:4 Lalu Daud dengan seluruh orang Israel pergi ke Yerusalem; itulah Yebus, dan di sana orang Yebus adalah penduduk negeri itu.
  7. 1tawarikh 11:5 Penduduk Yebus berkata kepada Daud: "Engkau tidak sanggup masuk ke mari." Tetapi Daud merebut kubu pertahanan Sion, yaitu kota Daud.
  8. 1tawarikh 11:6 Daud telah berkata: "Siapa lebih dahulu memukul kalah orang Yebus, ia akan menjadi kepala dan pemimpin." Lalu Yoab, anak Zeruya, yang menyerang lebih dahulu, maka ia menjadi kepala.
  9. 1tawarikh 11:7 Lalu Daud menetap di kubu pertahanan itu, sebab itu orang menamainya: Kota Daud.
  10. 1tawarikh 11:8 Ia memperkuat kota itu sekelilingnya, mulai dari Milo, bahkan sekelilingnya seluruhnya, sedang Yoab membangun kembali selebihnya dari kota itu.
  11. 1tawarikh 11:9 Lalu makin lama makin besarlah kuasa Daud, sebab TUHAN semesta alam menyertainya.

  12. Pahlawan-pahlawan Daud

    2Sam. 23:8-39
  13. 1tawarikh 11:10 Inilah kepala-kepala para pahlawan yang mengiringi Daud, yang telah memberi dukungan yang kuat kepadanya, bersama-sama seluruh Israel, dalam mencapai kedudukan raja dan yang mengangkat dia sebagai raja, seperti yang difirmankan TUHAN mengenai Israel.
  14. 1tawarikh 11:11 Inilah daftar para pahlawan yang mengiringi Daud: Yasobam bin Hakhmoni, kepala triwira; ia mengayunkan tombaknya melawan tiga ratus orang yang tertikam mati dalam satu pertempuran.
  15. 1tawarikh 11:12 Dan sesudah dia, Eleazar anak Dodo, orang Ahohi itu; ia termasuk ketiga pahlawan itu.
  16. 1tawarikh 11:13 Ia ada bersama-sama Daud di Pas-Damim, ketika orang Filistin berkumpul di sana untuk berperang. Ada sebidang tanah ladang penuh jelai di sana; ketika tentara melarikan diri dari hadapan orang Filistin,
  17. 1tawarikh 11:14 maka berdirilah mereka di tengah-tengah ladang itu; mereka dapat mempertahankannya dan memukul kalah orang Filistin. Demikianlah diberikan TUHAN kemenangan yang besar.
  18. 1tawarikh 11:15 Sekali datanglah tiga orang dari ketiga puluh kepala ke gunung batu mendapatkan Daud dekat gua Adulam, sedang tentara orang Filistin berkemah di lembah Refaim.
  19. 1tawarikh 11:16 Pada waktu itu Daud ada di dalam kubu gunung dan pasukan pendudukan orang Filistin pada waktu itu ada di Betlehem.
  20. 1tawarikh 11:17 Lalu timbullah keinginan pada Daud, dan ia berkata: "Sekiranya ada orang yang memberi aku minum air dari perigi Betlehem yang ada dekat pintu gerbang!"
  21. 1tawarikh 11:18 Lalu ketiga orang itu menerobos perkemahan orang Filistin, mereka menimba air dari perigi Betlehem yang ada dekat pintu gerbang, mengangkatnya dan membawanya kepada Daud. Tetapi Daud tidak mau meminumnya, melainkan mempersembahkannya sebagai korban curahan kepada TUHAN,
  22. 1tawarikh 11:19 katanya: "Jauhlah dari padaku, ya Allah, untuk berbuat demikian! Patutkah aku meminum darah taruhan nyawa orang-orang ini? Sebab dengan mempertaruhkan nyawanya mereka membawanya." Dan tidak mau ia meminumnya. Itulah yang dilakukan ketiga pahlawan itu.
  23. 1tawarikh 11:20 Abisai, adik Yoab, dialah kepala ketiga puluh orang itu. Dan dialah yang mengayunkan tombaknya melawan tiga ratus orang yang mati ditikamnya; ia mendapat nama di antara ketiga puluh orang itu.
  24. 1tawarikh 11:21 Di antara ketiga puluh orang itu ia paling dihormati. Memang ia menjadi pemimpin mereka, tetapi ia tidak dapat menyamai triwira itu.
  25. 1tawarikh 11:22 Selanjutnya Benaya bin Yoyada, anak seorang yang gagah perkasa, yang besar jasanya, yang berasal dari Kabzeel; ia menewaskan kedua pahlawan besar dari Moab. Juga pernah ia turun ke dalam lobang dan membunuh seekor singa pada suatu hari bersalju.
  26. 1tawarikh 11:23 Pula ia membunuh seorang Mesir, seorang yang tinggi perawakannya lima hasta tingginya; di tangan orang Mesir itu ada tombak seperti pesa tukang tenun, tetapi ia mendatanginya dengan tongkat, merampas tombak itu dari tangan orang Mesir itu, lalu membunuh orang itu dengan tombaknya sendiri.
  27. 1tawarikh 11:24 Itulah yang diperbuat Benaya bin Yoyada; ia mendapat nama di antara ketiga puluh pahlawan itu.
  28. 1tawarikh 11:25 Sesungguhnya, di antara ketiga puluh orang itu ia paling dihormati, tetapi ia tidak dapat menyamai triwira. Dan Daud mengangkat dia mengepalai pengawalnya.
  29. 1tawarikh 11:26 Pahlawan-pahlawan yang gagah perkasa ialah juga Asael, saudara Yoab, selanjutnya Elhanan bin Dodo, dari Betlehem;
  30. 1tawarikh 11:27 Samot, orang Harod; Heles, orang Peloni;
  31. 1tawarikh 11:28 Ira anak Ikesh orang Tekoa; Abiezer, orang Anatot;
  32. 1tawarikh 11:29 Sibkhai, orang Husa; Ilai, orang Ahohi;
  33. 1tawarikh 11:30 Maharai, orang Netofa; Heled bin Baana, orang Netofa;
  34. 1tawarikh 11:31 Itai bin ribai, dari Gibea orang Benyamin; Benaya, orang Piraton;
  35. 1tawarikh 11:32 Hurai dari lembah-lembah Gaas; Abiel, orang Bet-Araba;
  36. 1tawarikh 11:33 Azmawet, orang Bahurim; Elyahba, orang Saalbon;
  37. 1tawarikh 11:34 Hasyem orang Gizon; Yonatan bin Sage, orang Harari;
  38. 1tawarikh 11:35 Ahiam bin Sakhar, orang Harari; Elifal bin Ur;
  39. 1tawarikh 11:36 Hefer, orang Mekherati; Ahia, orang Peloni;
  40. 1tawarikh 11:37 Hezro, orang Karmel; Naarai bin Esbai;
  41. 1tawarikh 11:38 Yoel, saudara Natan; Mibhar bin Hagri;
  42. 1tawarikh 11:39 Zelek, orang Amon; Naharai, orang Beerot, pembawa senjata Yoab anak Zeruya;
  43. 1tawarikh 11:40 Ira, orang Yetri; Gareb, orang Yetri;
  44. 1tawarikh 11:41 Uria, orang Het; Zabad bin Ahlai;
  45. 1tawarikh 11:42 Adina anak Siza orang Ruben, kepala orang-orang Ruben dan beserta dia ada tiga puluh orang;
  46. 1tawarikh 11:43 Hanan bin Maakha; Yosafat, orang Mitni;
  47. 1tawarikh 11:44 Uzia, orang Asytarot; Syama dan Yeiel, anak-anak Hotam orang Aroer;
  48. 1tawarikh 11:45 Yediael bin Simri, dan Yoha, saudaranya, orang Tizi;
  49. 1tawarikh 11:46 Eliel, orang Mahawim; Yeribai dan Yosawya, anak-anak Elnaam; Yitma, orang Moab;
  50. 1tawarikh 11:47 Eliel, Obed dan Yaasiel, orang Mezobaya.
  1. 1chron 11:1 Then all Israel gathered themselves to David unto Hebron, saying, Behold, we are thy bone and thy flesh.
  2. 1chron 11:2 And moreover in time past, even when Saul was king, thou wast he that leddest out and broughtest in Israel: and the LORD thy God said unto thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be ruler over my people Israel.
  3. 1chron 11:3 Therefore came all the elders of Israel to the king to Hebron; and David made a covenant with them in Hebron before the LORD; and they anointed David king over Israel, according to the word of the LORD by Samuel.
  4. 1chron 11:4 And David and all Israel went to Jerusalem, which is Jebus; where the Jebusites were, the inhabitants of the land.
  5. 1chron 11:5 And the inhabitants of Jebus said to David, Thou shalt not come hither. Nevertheless David took the castle of Zion, which is the city of David.
  6. 1chron 11:6 And David said, Whosoever smiteth the Jebusites first shall be chief and captain. So Joab the son of Zeruiah went first up, and was chief.
  7. 1chron 11:7 And David dwelt in the castle; therefore they called it the city of David.
  8. 1chron 11:8 And he built the city round about, even from Millo round about: and Joab repaired the rest of the city.
  9. 1chron 11:9 So David waxed greater and greater: for the LORD of hosts was with him.
  10. 1chron 11:10 These also are the chief of the mighty men whom David had, who strengthened themselves with him in his kingdom, and with all Israel, to make him king, according to the word of the LORD concerning Israel.
  11. 1chron 11:11 And this is the number of the mighty men whom David had; Jashobeam, an Hachmonite, the chief of the captains: he lifted up his spear against three hundred slain by him at one time.
  12. 1chron 11:12 And after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo, the Ahohite, who was one of the three mighties.
  13. 1chron 11:13 He was with David at Pasdammim, and there the Philistines were gathered together to battle, where was a parcel of ground full of barley; and the people fled from before the Philistines.
  14. 1chron 11:14 And they set themselves in the midst of that parcel, and delivered it, and slew the Philistines; and the LORD saved them by a great deliverance.
  15. 1chron 11:15 Now three of the thirty captains went down to the rock to David, into the cave of Adullam; and the host of the Philistines encamped in the valley of Rephaim.
  16. 1chron 11:16 And David was then in the hold, and the Philistines' garrison was then at Bethlehem.
  17. 1chron 11:17 And David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me drink of the water of the well of Bethlehem, that is at the gate!
  18. 1chron 11:18 And the three brake through the host of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem, that was by the gate, and took it, and brought it to David: but David would not drink of it, but poured it out to the LORD.
  19. 1chron 11:19 And said, My God forbid it me, that I should do this thing: shall I drink the blood of these men that have put their lives in jeopardy? for with the jeopardy of their lives they brought it. Therefore he would not drink it. These things did these three mightiest.
  20. 1chron 11:20 And Abishai the brother of Joab, he was chief of the three: for lifting up his spear against three hundred, he slew them, and had a name among the three.
  21. 1chron 11:21 Of the three, he was more honorable than the two; for he was their captain: howbeit he attained not to the first three.
  22. 1chron 11:22 Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man of Kabzeel, who had done many acts; he slew two lionlike men of Moab: also he went down and slew a lion in a pit in a snowy day.
  23. 1chron 11:23 And he slew an Egyptian, a man of great stature, five cubits high; and in the Egyptian's hand was a spear like a weaver's beam; and he went down to him with a staff, and plucked the spear out of the Egyptian's hand, and slew him with his own spear.
  24. 1chron 11:24 These things did Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and had the name among the three mighties.
  25. 1chron 11:25 Behold, he was honorable among the thirty, but attained not to the first three: and David set him over his guard.
  26. 1chron 11:26 Also the valiant men of the armies were, Asahel the brother of Joab, Elhanan the son of Dodo of Bethlehem,
  27. 1chron 11:27 Shammoth the Harorite, Helez the Pelonite,
  28. 1chron 11:28 Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite, Abiezer the Antothite,
  29. 1chron 11:29 Sibbecai the Hushathite, Ilai the Ahohite,
  30. 1chron 11:30 Maharai the Netophathite, Heled the son of Baanah the Netophathite,
  31. 1chron 11:31 Ithai the son of Ribai of Gibeah, that pertained to the children of Benjamin, Benaiah the Pirathonite,
  32. 1chron 11:32 Hurai of the brooks of Gaash, Abiel the Arbathite,
  33. 1chron 11:33 Azmaveth the Baharumite, Eliahba the Shaalbonite,
  34. 1chron 11:34 The sons of Hashem the Gizonite, Jonathan the son of Shage the Hararite,
  35. 1chron 11:35 Ahiam the son of Sacar the Hararite, Eliphal the son of Ur,
  36. 1chron 11:36 Hepher the Mecherathite, Ahijah the Pelonite,
  37. 1chron 11:37 Hezro the Carmelite, Naarai the son of Ezbai,
  38. 1chron 11:38 Joel the brother of Nathan, Mibhar the son of Haggeri,
  39. 1chron 11:39 Zelek the Ammonite, Naharai the Berothite, the armourbearer of Joab the son of Zeruiah,
  40. 1chron 11:40 Ira the Ithrite, Gareb the Ithrite,
  41. 1chron 11:41 Uriah the Hittite, Zabad the son of Ahlai,
  42. 1chron 11:42 Adina the son of Shiza the Reubenite, a captain of the Reubenites, and thirty with him,
  43. 1chron 11:43 Hanan the son of Maachah, and Joshaphat the Mithnite,
  44. 1chron 11:44 Uzzia the Ashterathite, Shama and Jehiel the sons of Hothan the Aroerite,
  45. 1chron 11:45 Jediael the son of Shimri, and Joha his brother, the Tizite,
  46. 1chron 11:46 Eliel the Mahavite, and Jeribai, and Joshaviah, the sons of Elnaam, and Ithmah the Moabite,
  47. 1chron 11:47 Eliel, and Obed, and Jasiel the Mesobaite.
