WHEN RESTORATION OCCURS

Restoration. Who doesn't want to experience this, at least in one aspect of life that has been struggling for so long? I once felt so frustrated with the poor economic condition of our family, to the point where we had to borrow money even to buy kerosene for the kitchen stove! I remember that morning I cried until I couldn't speak anymore, then I begged God to restore the economic condition of our family. Praise God, since that night slowly but surely, God began to bless our family financially.

The restoration that God does in the lives of His people is not something to be taken lightly, as described in the Psalms that it is like a dream. Another description, like someone sowing seeds with tears, then the time will come when he will reap with shouts of joy (verse 6). That's how it is when God is at work, according to His timing and will, and He allows that restoration to happen in our lives. Isn't the Bible also filled with incredible stories of God's restoration in the lives of His people, which can strengthen our faith and hope?

Perhaps today we are going through a heavy struggle. We may have been waiting for help, even a miracle from God for a long time. Let us keep our hope directed towards God. Hold firmly to the truth of His word and do not let the devil weaken our focus and faith. As long as it is His will, then sooner or later, help, and even restoration from God will be manifested in our lives. --GHJ/www.renunganharian.net
