For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction. (Psalm 1:6)

The Book of Psalms tells of the relationship between believers and God. So, no one if collecting the Psalms Psalm 1 is put into the first part of a collection of psalms. Emphatically, the Psalmist advises believers not to live recklessly. Even "just" sitting in the stands in the environment scoffers and sinners, it can make it fall. Therefore, the sin will give birth to sin. So, we are advised to recognize who the wicked, who is right, and keep our hearts when associating with people.
The wicked are those who know the truth, but ignore it. In fact, his life is so much filled with the desire to please others. He has no principles, his life became like the chaff which was flown to and fro by the storms of life. Although it may look great, but he could easily vanish without a trace up.
The righteous are those who hang out near to God through His word. Her life continues to "grow like a tree planted by the river". Thus, although the storm shook and struck scorching, he remained firm, even continued to bear fruit. This is a sign of people who associate with God: his many bless others with kindness and truth. In addition, he personally blessed with happiness and satisfaction, because his life is attached to the Source of life.
Keep our hearts in association with full alertness. Be true to experience the satisfaction and happiness, as well as being a blessing to others. Namely, a close associate with God, through His word - SST
