SACRIFICE SUBSTITUTE

For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy. (Hebrews 10:14)

In the Old Testament, if someone wants to worship the Lord, he shall bring the sacrifice instead of his sin. The man was not considered feasible to God without any casualties brought to be offered. Victims should be used livestock, such as oxen, cows, goats, sheep, birds turtledoves or pigeons (Lev. 1:2, 14).

The Bible says that without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness (Hebrews 9:22). For why should the surrogate victim of sin. Victims who used to be perfect, flawless. Priest does not check for those who bring offerings, but it will view and examine the victim is offered. So, people that deserve to God it were not for him, but because the victim was his successor!

All the victims had been perfected Jesus on the cross. She not only acts as a high priest to mediate God and man, but also a sacrificial substitute. When we come to God, He does not see ourselves as sinners. He saw Jesus who became sin sacrifice. If we can be worthy of having a relationship with God, it's simply because the sacrifice of Jesus for us. That's why safety we can not own the results of operations, but the grace of God.

Have an awareness that we are pleasing before God solely because of the blood of Jesus, not because of who we are or all the things we do. Thus, every service we will be guided by right motives: we are the ones who are justified by the blood of Christ - PK
