READ MASTERPIECE

Baca: Isaiah 6

In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple. (Isaiah 6:1)

Bacaan tahunan: Numbers 18-20

I was amazed when I read Victor Hugo's Les Miserables, one of the best novels of all time. Very detailed depiction of the character and nature of the conflict so compelling. Experience teaches that at least two things. First, humility: I am a very small chance it could working seelok work. Second, increase the literary taste, makes me want to read more of other masterpieces.

Isaiah had something far more powerful than reading a novel masterpiece: he saw the glory of God! And, it's terrible experience changed his life radically. Witnessed the glory of God the Holy One, she soon became aware of uncleanness as sinful creatures (verse 5). Thankfully, the glory of God is at once the answer to his sinfulness: the divine encounter purify himself (verses 6-7). Armed with the dedication and humility, Isaiah was ready to be a messenger of God (verse 8), run the mandate that He has given (verses 9-13).

How do we fight against sin? Try reading one or more paragraphs describing the glory of God. Memorized. Think about it. Believe the truth. Let the Word was filling the minds and hearts. Ask the Holy Spirit to help remember back in the middle of the daily grind and come up with ideas to implement. Word will enhance our spiritual taste; strengthen us to push away the sins deceitfulness; make us long for the glory of God rather than worldly pleasures; later, ready to be his messenger. - ARS
