Baca: Psalm 71
Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, my God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are to come. (Psalm 71:18)

My grandfather was the age of 94 years. He is so forgetful; forgotten hours, forget the day, forgetting names of people, and forget to eat. However, one thing I admire about him: he never forgot to pray eat and sleep both before and after. Content of his prayer was very interesting. He was not asked for a healthy and abundant blessings, but because it was a prayer of thanksgiving and prayer was awakened again to the inclusion of the Lord is always with him and the family.
Psalm we read today are beautifully described how the Lord was with us throughout the ages. The psalmist put their trust in God since his youth. "Oh God, You alone are my hope. Been since I was little I entrusted myself to Thee" (v. 5 NKJV). And, the belief in God that accompanies the inclusion of a step since he was young, although he continues to feel his strength began to run out (paragraph 9) and graying hair (verse 18). Awareness is also directing his belief that the inclusion of the Lord until old age also means an assignment: that I may proclaim your power to this generation, Thy might to all who will come (verse 18).
To this day, every time I look grandfather prayed, I was constantly reminded of God for the inclusion of a fragile human being. Also, regarding my duties entailed: that every opportunity to breathe the air day after day is a chance to enjoy the grace of His presence; also, the opportunity to honor and glory of the Lord to introduce more people. What about you? - OLV
