"Blessed is the man ... who is her favorite God, Torah, and reflect on the law day and night." (Psalm 1: 1-2)
Bacaan tahunan: Proverbs 10-12
Donald s. Whitney observes that "many souls languish is the readers of the Bible diligently." Why? Because they only read only, and not my meditation. He writes, "if we are not careful, the words of the Bible would simply be a collection of words that flow through our minds. As soon as the words were passing in our minds ... we should soon turn their attention on things that there are now before us. There are so many things to us though in our brain; If we do not absorb some of them, nothing will affect us. "
The psalmist called "blessed" is also not the one who merely read the word of God, but that is my meditation day and night. Meditate on God's word means the word derives into systems thinking. Thoughts that influenced the Lord this is what makes people no longer like adjacent to sin (verse 1). People who like to meditate on the word of God relate gratitude as a tree on the edge of the water flow. In order not to wither, water should be absorbed and drains all the parts inside the tree, rather than simply passing.
How much you "contemplate" God's Word for it? Wear 25-50% of the time to reflect on one's reading of the Bible verse, phrase, or Word. Lontarkan question. Pray. Make a note about it. Think of at least one way to implement it. Don't rush. Immerse yourself in a Word. Don't let your soul anymore because tak sempat absorb languish anything. Let the word of it drains and refresh you, affect your life and make you berbuah-buah in due season. -ELS
