LOVE WITHOUT LIMITS

Read: Hosea 11: 1-11

I'm not going to carry out my wrath, anger will not destroy Ephraim returns. For I am God and not man, Holy among you, and I do not come to scorch. (Hosea 11: 9)

Bible in a year: 2 Samuel 11-12; 1 Chronicles 20

We are certainly no strangers to folklore Malin Kundang. A story about a boy who forgets the good mother had adopted him. After rich, he was ashamed of admitting that his mother was old and poor. His mother attempted to arouse, but he still does not want to admit. Finally patience is the mother out. Malin Kundang is cursed to be a rock. The patience of the mother, as human beings, there are limits.
Hosea describes God's heart full of compassion with the so beautiful. Even so, goodness and his mercy is often forgotten people of Israel. They forget that it is he who has freed them from bondage in Egypt, and helped along the way to the promised land (verse 1). Ironically, instead of the continuation of God's mercy and succor, they instead get away from God. They turn to other gods and worship (v. 2-4, 7). Really grateful that God is not a man She never runs out of patience as Malin Kundang's mother. He gives discipline in his people (vv. 5-6), but does not want his people "scorched" and "perish" (verses 8-9). The Lord is merciful the personal desires of his people repent.
Read the word of the Lord today brings us back to take the greatness of God's love, and realize how we are very decent on. Haven't we also often turn from him like a nation of Israel? His deeds in life we have forgotten. Thankful that God is not a man that is limited in love. Let's please God help us not to squander the opportunities God provided. --YBP
