PLACES OF WORSHIP VS. NEST ROBBERS

Read: Jeremiah 7: 1-15

Have become a hotbed of robbers in your eyes home that it was called my name? If I, I myself see it all, saith the Lord. (Jeremiah 7: 11)

In the story of Ali Baba or fairy tale of 1001 nights more often appear notable robbers. The robbers were always run into the cave, into her, each time finished robbing. Why? Because in the nest that they feel safe and satisfied having fun, before going out to Rob again. Could it be the House of worship today can potentially be "nest of robbers"?
Our readings today indicate a God who did not want to attend the worship of Israel (verses 3 and 7). Why? Because of the behavior and attitudes of their hearts like robbers: go to the houses of worship are only looking for a sense of security, but their behavior does not change (verses 8-10). Chances are the leaders in the Temple of God has a large share of the misuse of this worship Lord thus refer to Word them as a lie (v. 4, compare with article 11: 16-17). People are always on the side so feel God and blessed by God even though the outside of the Temple of God continue to repeat the crime (paragraph 10). Terrible!
Church or Christian Fellowship is not a place to find a safe and forgiving for a variety of reasons we conduct evil. If during this we practiced mental robbers repented, mari! God wills to the faithful who came with contrite heart and acknowledge any man kebobrokannya, and want to turn around to fix her life together. Let's pray that churches in Indonesia is filled with more and more children of God whose lives are seriously diubahkan by the word and become agents of change in the middle of the nation's best known devout but still loaded with evil and havoc. --ICW
