RELATIONSHIP IN LOVE

Human beings are social creatures, which means that humans always need relationships with others. However, not all humans build relationships based on balanced relationships. There are relationships built on hierarchy, superiority, or even profit and loss, which become the goals of a relationship. Such relationships will only lead to conflicts, where there is a desire to outdo each other.

There are two things that Jesus showed from the message of suffering that He would undergo. First, Jesus showed how humans actually prefer conflict to peace. Jesus said that the Son of Man will be delivered into the hands of men, killed. Jesus shows the rejection of humans towards His presence, those who feel loss due to His presence. Second, even though humans can reject the person of the Son of Man, but humans cannot reject the power of God's work through His presence. By talking about His resurrection, Jesus shows that God's work does not give up on wounds, does not see the profit and loss of relationships with humans, but continues to embrace and provide salvation as a real form of love for life.

Jesus shows that relationships in life are actually meant to strengthen, build, encourage, and help each other. Therefore, in building a relationship, let us not be toxic to others, but be full of love that channels God's blessings and builds life. --ZDP/www.renunganharian.net
