FACE THE BOOK

Jonathan Edwards notes how he face the Book, view the Bible: "In myself I grew up a huge favorite of the Bible, more than any book. Often when reading it, every word touched my heart feels. I feel the harmony between something in my heart with the words beautiful and strong from the Bible. I often like to see so much light that is emitted by every sentence, such as enjoying the delicious food served, so I stopped reading my resume. often I ponder it until the old one sentence of the Bible, to see magic in it; but almost all of the sentence seems full of wonders. "

Psalm 119 is also filled with a great passion of love in the face of the author the Book. Note the choice of his words: "On the instructions of your warnings I rejoice, as for all the treasures ... thy word I will not forget ... My soul breaketh for the longing to thy laws every time I think about it ... all day ... all that ... my heart with joy thy commandments more than gold, than even fine gold ... I hold on thy warnings, and I was very loved. (verses 14, 16, 20, 97, 111, 127, 167).

Reflect on the psalmist and Edwards, we find our spirituality is pale, wobbly spiritual discipline, and desire that infertile. Let's ask God to fill us with love on revelations Himself, longing and joy to face the Book every day. - JOO
