BRINGING OUR WEAKNESS TO HIM

Every human being certainly has weaknesses in their lives. Therefore, it is reasonable if we can experience failure, despair, sadness, and also confusion. Weakness is proof that we cannot feel strong and live alone. In that weakness, our attitude becomes the key to the life we live.

In the sorrow felt by the people of Israel because of the exile they experienced, God revealed Himself to them. God will help and restore their condition so that they truly live a new life, free from sorrow. However, for this, God requires them to truly come to Him by realizing their weakness, which God describes with weeping. Weeping is a representation of sadness and regret, which is a form of acknowledgment and awareness of one's weakness. With that attitude and awareness, God will strengthen them by comforting and making them rejoice again, and guiding every step of their lives. God shows that He is a leader who never leaves His people, and always present to give life to them.

God asserts that He never abandons and harms us. Therefore, in our weakness, God invites us to always come close to Him. For He is always present to strengthen, empower, and give life to us. --ZDP/www.renunganharian.net
