Everyone has tendencies to make certain choices in the face of things. For example? A racist tends to be discriminatory in matters related to race and ethnicity. A peace lover tends to avoid things that provoke disputes.

Tendencies are serious matters. They greatly affect our thoughts, feelings, considerations, decisions, attitudes, and actions. Unfortunately, serious matters are often unnoticed by us. As a result? Our tendencies become something beyond our control, and those tendencies are the ones controlling us. If that tendency is positive, life is beautiful. But what if it turns out to be negative?

God said, "Test everything and hold fast to what is good." We must test everything. Our tendencies must also be tested whether they are in accordance with God's will. Then? Eliminate all that is wrong, embrace all that is right. We cleanse our tendencies.

The problem is, our tendencies are often unnoticed and unrecognized by us. Therefore, the first thing we need to do is to examine ourselves to recognize and realize our tendencies. After that, we can test it. Without recognizing and realizing our tendencies, we cannot test and cleanse them.

Every time, we need to recognize, realize, and test our tendencies. By doing so, we can cleanse our tendencies, and clarify our choices and decisions. --EE/www.renunganharian.net
