For 16 years, John Kovancs live in the subway tunnels and dark. While there are improvements to the tunnel, he was forced to find a new place to live. One time, he was elected to become the first person to win the program "change the homeless into permanent residents" held The New York Times. John left his old residence and becoming organic farmers in New York. He said, "the air out here feels better. I will miss my old life. I will not go back there again. "
Statement of John should also represent the attitude of our hearts in living the life of a new man in Christ. Paul called it "Uninstalling the old man" and "put on the new man" (verses 22-23). Why must uninstall the old man? The old man was far from life comes from God (v. 18). Oh, are there any worse than living away from God? Life is covered in ignorance and violence; create the feeling of being so blunt, greedy, desires and deeds cemarlah performed each time (v. 19). Meanwhile, wearing a new man meant to be updated in spirit and mind (paragraph 23); created according to the will of God in righteousness and holiness of the real (verse 24). So, there is a change of taste and orientation of life; meneladan Christ (paragraph 20); kind, tenderhearted, forgiving each other (paragraph 32).
Do we want the old man? In terms of what we tend to turn to the old man? Lets beg forgiveness of God. Accompanied by the help of the Holy Spirit, the commitment of the House of John Kovancs: "I am not going back there again!"--NILE
