A proverb says: "we love to have the biggest potential to hurt our hearts". If we are not their people that we don't know, it doesn't matter. However, if it is the one that most of us loved ones, it's of course very painful.
Not above begging by the beloved and chosen. Thus the "outpouring of heart's content the" Lord of the nation Israel through the Prophet Isaiah. God's tender lover wounded; his love was not greeted the nation Israel. When he calls, Israel did not answer; When he spoke, Israel not heard (v. 12b). God so loved the nation of Israel, but they ignored God and betrayed him by doing what is evil and hurt him (vv. 1-5). That is why God would punish them. Nevertheless, the love of God make him not destroy them entirely (verses 8-9). God even the promising recovery total; There will be no more to do evil and rotten applies (see paragraph 17-25). How great is the love of God!
As the people of God today, how our attitude in response to God? How we love the personal so loved us? Do we respond to him every time he called and talked to us? Or are we more often as the nation Israel who chose to act as the heart rather than pleasing God? Every sin we do is a manifestation of our rebellion to God and it made his heart hurt. Take the best choice: the glorifying and pleasing his heart. --VTA
