A preacher had warned: "any Way, will drive leads to God. You will surely find him, either as light and life, or as a fire and torment. " He was right. The Lord himself declared himself not only as A start, but also The end. Alpha and Omega. Alpha is the first letter of the alphabet, the letter Omega is Greece. This statement of God had serious consequences for any of his creation.
There are two "end" that is described in the word of God that we read. The end of the first was the end for those who win (verse 7). They will gain all that mentioned in paragraph 1-4. They are hungry for God, and The source of life will satisfy their thirst is forever (verse 6). The end of the second is the end for those who didn't win (verse 8). They are known as those "timid and does not believe it". God did not appeal to them. They are hungry for violence and revenge (vile, the murderers), thirst for sexual satisfaction outside the way that God condoned (bitch), thirsting for power of the occult (witchcraft), the thirst for God that fits his intention "(idols), thirsting for a successful outcome of the lie (lie). Instead of enjoying the fountain of life, they ended up in the Lake of fire and brimstone.
How are we going to live each day with the awareness that God is The Omega, the final, we will Personally encounter after living in this world is over? What have been Your thirst in this life? Unless we are thirsting for God, crave him more than anything, we will not be satisfied in the end. -ELS
