Bacaan tahunan: Genesis 25-26

Toni annoyed. Since its establishment, the factory often ditimpuki street children. Dozens of times a burglar alarm goes off. One day dipergokinya 3 children stealing mangoes in the yard. They cornered fear. Toni was indignant, but suddenly remembered the word of God: "Do not repay evil with evil." Gave each child a mango while admonished: "Next time just ask, do not steal." Two days later, five children came asking mango! Toni eager to serve. Willing to be disturbed. Over time, they come every afternoon. It's no longer asking for mangoes, but to make friends. They were taught reading and writing. Manufacturer to be safe. Moreover, street children can learn to know God's love.

When people do evil, we usually want to reply. Why? Because we feel disturbed. Were injured. If the reply, there is a sense of satisfaction. However, retaliation led to retaliation; childbirth endless circle of revenge. The Apostle Paul gives a radical suggestion: do good to your enemies! (Verses 17, 20). Act of selfless love ruling devastating opponent, transforming resentment into forgiveness (v. 21). We asked, "Then what about their crimes? Do not they should receive retribution?" Matter of retaliation, says Paul, leave it to God (verse 19). Our part is to show kindness.

To be able to do good while being hurt, we have to put up with people who are hard and be crooked. That requires self-denial. Remember the promise of God's word. It is not easy, but the results are beautiful. Try it! - JTI
