There is someone who is doing interesting observations of the biblical record of Jesus ' Ministry. From 132 the appearance of Jesus publicly, 122 of them in the midst of the world of work. Of the 52 parables Jesus taught, 45 has a background working world. Divine intervention from the 40 that is recorded in the acts of the Apostles, 39 going on in the world of work. Jesus called twelve disciples of the world of work, not clergy, to build his Church.
Since the beginning of the creation up to the heavens and the Earth, the stories of the Bible gives great attention on the world of work. In Epistle we contemplate and in his letters to another, teaching conveys is often followed by the application in the world of work. Be reminded to servants and gentlemen "were both had one employer, i.e. the Lord" (verse 9 BIS). Konse-kuensinya, we serve with sincerity and with all your heart, with obedience to his will (vv. 5-6), with the hope of reward from him (verse 8). Note that here Paul was talking about ecclesiastical activity, but rather about your daily work.
Any job can be a spiritual worship, if we do it for God. Instead, each service can be a secular activities, if we do not do so unto the Lord. In the midst of the bustle and challenges in your work today, take a moment to investigate the heart: "to whom I do all this? Who will I serve? "-JOO
