Is Jesus the only way for man's salvation? To answer this question, Robertson McQuilkin gave an analogy. Imagine you are a hospital security guard on duty on the 10th floor. You know the location of the emergency ladder diagram are clearly marked. When there is a large fire, is it correct if you discuss the possibility of a safe way than through the fire escape or chance of surviving if the jump from 10th floor? The most appropriate response is to bring all patients as quickly as possible toward the stairwell.

Peter and John were arrested, detained, and prosecuted. They were threatened and were strictly forbidden to talk about Jesus. However, they can not be stopped. The reason is straightforward and logical: If salvation for man in the whole world exists only in faith in the work of Jesus (verse 12), how could not disseminate experience and good news to all the people (verse 20)? It is impossible. Jesus himself had taught them, "No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6).

The big question is why road safety is not the only one, or how the eternal fate of those who lost. The great mystery is why we are busy doing many things well, but could not see to it that everyone heard the word of life in Christ is liberating.
