Baca: Psalm 127
Behold, children are a heritage from the men of God. ... Like arrows in the hands of the hero, thus children on youth. (Psalm 127: 3-4)
Bacaan tahunan: Isaiah 35-36
I feel very lucky to have a mother who so loved me. I am often reminded of his story, that he pray for me since I am in content--from knowing her pregnant. Hear it, I feel so worthwhile. My presence is designed well and desirable. In addition, I know the truth of the Bible and the book of my father applied discipline. Through prayer and their upbringing, I felt the Lord's presence significantly in life.
The attitude my parents just as the Bible say: child is a precious gift of grace, belongs to God, not the work or accomplishments of the parent. As our livelihood (paragraph 2), we attempt to acquire it sia-sialah if it is not given to us. However, like arrows (paragraph 4), the child needs to be trained and honed since childhood in order to achieve his goals. There are times when children need to gets rebuke, even a penalty (see proverbs 29: 15). If that is done, when the adult child later, her parents would not be ashamed in the presence of enemies (v. 5). Who are our enemies? Our enemy is no longer physical, but rather in the sense of the spiritual, that Satan and his army (see Ephesians 6: 12).
With an attitude of how we view the child? Like a load of hassle or is God's gift for which we are thankful for? Cherish the children not only obligations of parents, but a must for every believer. In the form of the action, we appreciate the kid when we educate and teach the truth to them, bring them to know and love God early on. -HEM
