FEASIBILITY TEST

Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. (Psalm 139:23)

We can not judge our own work objectively. That is why, always takes an independent and trusted party to examine and assess. For example, food and medicines should be tested suitability for consumption, by any national authorities. A feasibility reliable financial statements are presented after being reviewed by independent auditors. Here, the quality and integrity of the examiner will determine whether the test results can be trusted or not.

Similarly with our hearts. Surely we can not judge our own hearts. We might argue that what we do already have the right motivation. However, it is not necessarily proven right with God. The psalmist also felt that what he is doing is correct, however it is still asking God to investigate the heart and mind. All this is based on the realization that God is omniscient He really knows all hearts and minds. And, because God is truth then all the judgments of God must be true. Furthermore, the psalmist also showed a teachable heart and guided to the right path.

Maybe we already feel that everything we do we have done in a way and the right motivation, to the glory of God. However, we often do not realize when the motivation we slowly began to change. So, we need to always open in the presence of God. Ask God sees our deepest hearts. And, whatever the Lord revealed, let us have a willing heart to be rebuked and guided to the right path - VT
