Baca: Philippians 1:1-11
I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now (Philippians 1:3-5)
Bacaan tahunan: Genesis 43-45
When visiting a few church services in South Korea, there is one thing that makes me curious. Attending church preacher repeatedly responded with "Amen". Interestingly, their voices are almost always together, like a choir. I know in Indonesia respond "Amen" there, but usually separately. My curiosity after attending services missed the umpteenth time, and hear about the real participation of South Korean churches in preaching the gospel all over the world. All the churches from various backgrounds to educate the congregation to preach the gospel and support missions. Not surprisingly, when the sentences contained an invitation to preach the gospel preaching, they must have been a spontaneous response "Amen".
Participation in the preaching of the gospel is also a strong impression that is embedded in Paul's heart every time since the church at Philippi (verse 5). One of his form, they provide assistance to meet the needs of Paul as a preacher of the gospel cross-culturally (see chapter 4:15, 16, 18). Act of love is of course based on the desire that the gospel is preached, not just from one person, but the whole congregation. Philippians contains a thank you from the apostle to them.
There is one thing equally "to be amen" either by the churches in South Korea, and the Philippians. Their hearts are full of longing to preach the gospel to all nations. Is the same faith and longing that also includes our hearts and move our actions to take part in real? - PAD
