Rejoice evermore. Keep on praying. Recite the gratitude in all things, because that's what you want God in Christ Jesus for you. (1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18)

In 1960, Dean Denler, husband of Ruth Meyers (author of 31 Days of Praise), treated for terminal cancer. That's when he decided to make the rooms house the pain somewhere special residence for the Lord. "I will praise the Lord throughout eternity," he said to Ruth, "but only for a short waktuku on earth I can bring her with a fondness for praise him in the midst of pain." When he died, his close friend said, "Dean's room became a sacred place, her bed a pulpit; and all who came to comfort her blessed. " Songs of praise is indeed not a physical cure Dean. However, one can observe how the praise that was born from a heart full of gratitude changed the way up against the disease; and bring others to glorify God.
Paul also sent a message to the Church in Thessalonica give thanks in all things (v. 18). Why? Because that's what God desired. Yes, you're not wrong reading. Give thanks in all things is the will of Christ. Joy and gratitude of the Church becomes the epitome of Thessaloniki for many people, not because everything smoothly for them (see 1 Thessalonians 1: 6-9). Suppression is not blocking the heart filled with gratitude gave birth to praise to the Lord.
