INTENTIONALLY SEARCHES FOR HIS FAULT

Read: JOHN 7:53-8:11

Bible in a year: Deuteronomy 21-23

Under the pretext of thinking about the company's revenue that does not cover operational costs, a colleague blames Doni's performance, a marketing staff. Doni admits that his sales revenue has decreased. Doni tries to increase revenue by adding new customers. After it increased, his colleague searched for his fault again. He said, it's useless to have many customers if each transaction order is small. Doni tried again, and succeeded in getting some buyers whose transaction orders were large at once.

Someone may not like us, look for our faults and definitely find them. We may get angry and want to retaliate, but let us follow Jesus' example. The experts in the law and the Pharisees hated Jesus because they considered Him an enemy. They brought to Jesus a woman caught in adultery and asked for His opinion (verses. 4-5). They were not interested in the truth, but in self-justification. In their eyes, this unfortunate woman was not a human being, but a trap to ensnare Jesus (verse. 6). They were not interested in justice or compassion, but cornering Jesus.

Sometimes we may face people who do not like or hate us, then attack, one form is looking for our faults. Our response should remain calm, improve ourselves, and do not need to hold grudges. Let us grow better. Do not be someone who only thinks about other people's mistakes but does not think about their own mistakes. --RTG/www.renunganharian.net

WE SHOULD REMAIN CALM, IMPROVE OURSELVES, AND DO NOT NEED TO HURT, WHEN SOMEONE SEARCHES FOR OUR FAULTS.
