Rosalynn Carter, former First Lady of the United States, said that a leader takes their people to where they want to go. However, a great leader will take their people to where they need to go, even if they do not want it. It means, a good leader will truly be responsible for the lives of their people. He will not just obey the wishes of his people, but will guide their lives so that they can continue to grow.

God shows Himself as the leader of the nation of Israel, guiding and protecting them. He declared this when they walked in the desert, always providing a cloud during the day and fire at night covering the Holy Tent. The cloud in the daytime would shade them because the weather in the desert during the day was very hot. On the other hand, His fire would warm them because of how cold the desert was at night. His help shows that He guarantees the life of His people and always pays attention to their needs. Under His leadership, He enables His people to live life and achieve their goals.

God is the leader of our lives. Let us entrust our lives to Him by surrendering to His leadership. For, only through His leadership can we have life. Under His leadership, He enables us to live our lives so that we find happiness in life.
