TOO BUSY? PRAY!

Read: Mark 1: 35-39

Early in the morning, while it was still dark, He got up and went out. He went to a remote place and pray there. (Mark 1: 35)

Bible in a year: 2 Kings 12-13; 2 Chronicles 24

During the school holidays arrives, my sister gave the task to his son who was a class 2 SD to help him take the call. When the phone rang and my sister was busy answering another phone, my nephew made him and said: "te to te tooott ... go to Your phone is busy, please try again later."
Though amused, tingkahnya make me so ponder and the continuation, the God we worship is not a God who is too busy to hear prayer. Thus the scheduling often make us feel no time just communicating with him. Paragraph options today reminds us, that in the midst of solid service (Mark 1: 1-34), Jesus used the opportunity to pray before the start of his pekerjaaan (verse 35). Why Jesus had to pray? Through prayer, Jesus reveals two things. First, his relationship with God was very intimate. Sepenat whatever, the togetherness with the father did not want him to miss out. Second, Jesus declares his relationship with the father is the thing that underlies all of his Ministry on Earth. As a human, he relies on full of God. The presence and power of God that's what he stated when resolving various problems, meet the needs of the service, and change things around.
How our prayer life? If the bustle and scheduling activities often becomes the reason to not pray fervently? As light requires a wire as a means of connecting with a source of electricity in order to function properly, so are the human need of prayer as a means of connecting with The source of life, so that we can live in harmony with his will. -DEW
