How would you feel if abandoned forever by people you respect and loved ones? Most people must have been hit by a deep sadness. Some people may feel a loss of grip. Especially if the departure was abrupt.
Know that his Ministry on Earth in the flesh of a physical presence and will not last forever, far-distant day the Lord Jesus told his disciples that he would "leave" them (see start of article 12). However, it is not the Lord Jesus promised to accompany the disciples always until the end of the age (Matthew 28: 20)? If he leaves, it means he's not no longer accompany? Here Lord Jesus reveals the whereabouts of the triune God. Jesus will go to the father, while the Holy Spirit will descend (vv. 7, 8). Thus, the inclusion of God remains valid. The word translated as Greece Helper is the Paraclete. Literally means that accompany or provide personal defense. That's Personally promised the Lord Jesus to help the students. A lot of things that have not properly understood them during follow Jesus but the Holy Spirit will lead them into all truth (vv. 12-13). He will help them understand and preach to the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment (vv. 8-11).
Ascension of Jesus into heaven doesn't break his promise of inclusion. The Holy Spirit, Personally sent him, deign to stay in the hearts of believers, to help them remember and understand Jesus ' teaching (paragraph 14), as well as tell it. Have you believe in Jesus and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit? Have and build relation is familiar with him. Let him lead you into all the truth. --YBP
