FEEL SAFE

Read: Proverbs 28:1-10

The wicked flee though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion. (Proverbs 28:1)

Bible in a year: 2 Samuel 1-4

Have you ever tried invisible when the police vehicle passing, even though he is not currently pursuing you? We have tried to defend themselves in the conversation, when in fact no one is criticizing our words? If ever, we'll encounter difficulty when reading verse 1: "the wicked flee though none pursue".

There is something that makes the wicked run. Definitely not for those timid people. In fact, the wicked in stupidity can perform actions that are high risk, for example: running red lights, using illegal drugs, corruption, and so on. However, as Adam was hiding when I heard steps God (Genesis 3: 8), there is a conscience that God gave to inform them that he is "unsafe" in the presence of God (cf. ROM. 1: 18). Rather, "people really feel safe like a young lion". Who are they? The Bible does not mean those who rely on its own right, but those who are justified by God (Psalm 32: 1-2), whose hearts have been cleansed of evil conscience so have the courage of facing the Lord, their hearts are no longer accusing them (1 John 3: 9).

If we have justified God, we will be living in subjecting his word. Human rules according to the word of our Lord fill pursued not because of guilt. The rule of man who does not comply with the word of our Lord about the brave and wise man. The truth of the Lord that our capital to "feel safe" before God and man. -ELS
