Which city do you think is best and fun for liveable? My younger brother was happy with his job in Jakarta, but not happy settled there because of the frequent crashes and floods. My friend enjoyed the cleanliness and regularity of Singapore, but he thought it was a bit boring.
John Gets a vision of a city that is better than any city I've ever seen. So wonderful until John mentions various precious stones to gambarkannya (v. 11-21). Obviously it's not the city dead boring because he also saw "Nations" and "Kings" activity in it (verses 23-26). And, most unusually, a city that was mentioned is filled with the glory of God (verse 11) because God indeed dwell there (verse 22-23). Live with the Creator who has knowledge and creativity infinite isn't certainly never boring? There is another important note: within the city it was no sin (verse 27). Place free from thieves, Liars, scoffers, murderers, and all perpetrators of other crimes.
We have been redeemed in Christ, the Lamb of God, and loyal till the end will stay in that city (Revelation 14: 1-6, 12; 8: 12). Have we thought about what we will do and percakapkan every day there? In a city centered in God, of every activity we will tell you about the truth and justice of God; Holiness and his love; the muliaan and honor him. Realize the future we will be, why not start it off right now? -ELS
