DIAKONIA

The word of God more and more spread out, and the number of disciples in Jerusalem grew a lot; also a large number of priests, gave himself up and believe (the story of PR. Apostles 6: 7)

The example of the early Church continues to challenge us today. A community of believers that "one accord and sejiwa" (acts 4: 32) and among them "there is no one who is in need" (acts 4: 32). However, as all the communities of the world, the problem sooner or later will appear. Any complaint relating to a perceived lack of fair service (paragraph 1). The Apostles immediately acted to lift seven people to handle it (paragraph 3). Although the author of the book does not use the word Deacon, but these events laid the Foundation for setting Ministry diakonia we know today, that help people in need. The Result? The word of God spread and the number of pupils grew (verse 7)!
The preaching of the word and diakonia cannot be separated. Diakonia is the fruit of the preaching of the Word and the bridge for the preaching of the word. The Church of God can not only memperkatakan the love of God in the Bible without applying them in real action. In order to run a maximum of diakonia, the management need to be assigned to certain people, but the responsibility is on the whole Church diakonia God longs to make known the name of Christ.
