you are always with me, and everything I have is yours. (Luke 15:31)

Rearview mirror to help us see the other vehicles in the rear without turning around. However, there are areas within a certain distance that can not be seen through the rearview mirror, called a blindspot. The only way to see it just by turning around. Something in the area "blind spot" we should always look at the conscious and alert. Then we can see it there.
Proximity should make things easier to see. Na - however, the fact is not always the case. Something close to it sometimes becomes "blind spots" that often eluded. It was also experienced by the elder son in the parable of the Lord Jesus. Closeness with the father the eldest does not necessarily make it able to "see" the love and kindness of the father (verses 29-30). He was the son-who also had what the father (v. 31), but he had a "blind spot" in the goodness of his father. He was surprised when the favor bestowed on the brother who came home from disobedience (v. 30). Yet the same kindness has available to him every day-so close.
Are we unwittingly become like the eldest, had the grace and blessings in everyday life: fresh air, the five senses are functioning normally, parents, siblings, children, housing, labor and vehicles for work, opportunity to attend school, sleep and bed, but forget to see and appreciate the Giver. Maybe he is no longer so close we feel his presence. Then we consider his inclusion is no longer special. Realize and enjoy the times you near Him and be thankful. - PAD
