Bible in a year: Numbers 23-25

Hearing the "Just Do It" we think of Nike sports shoes. Hearing "It's good Read and Keep" we are reminded of the weekly news magazine Tempo. Hear "Life Is Good" we think of LG electronic products. We know that the advertised products, but usually do not know the person or agency who sparked a reminder phrase that represents the product.

As the role of advertising agencies for its advertising products, says about our roles for God. Paul described it as "the glory of God". In other translations, such as the King James version, it says "look at the glory of God as in a mirror". Which is correct? Paul uses the Greek term which can mean both katoptrizomai. He refers to Moses on Mount Sinai experience. On the mountain, Moses saw a glimpse of the glory of God. When he came down from the mountain, "Moses' face light so bright, so that the eyes of the people of Israel can not stand at him" (verse 7). In view of the glory of God, Moses radiate his glory. In view of the glory of God, we are transformed into His likeness.

Paul wanted to encourage us to live God-centered. We see God, among others, by taking the time to fellowship with Him personally. Furthermore, in daily interactions with others, we must reflect God's glory through the attitudes, thoughts, words, and actions. - ARS
