Bible in a year: John 19-21

All the story would have an ending. There is a happy ending, but many also ended sad, even tragic. If we are asked to choose, of course we would prefer a happy ending story, especially if the story of our own lives. There is even a joke said that we can have a beautiful childhood, enjoyment and happiness in the young age, enjoy the richness in old age, and go to heaven when die. Of course this is not realistic.

David's life can be said to be a success one. He went on to become king of a rich and full of glory. His son, King Solomon to be known for his wisdom will succeed him as king. David, the king as well as a true soldier, died when she was old and much of an impression: his works, his wisdom, his piety, his prayers. Indeed, the king of Israel there is another, more prosperous and longer than the reign of David, but no more pious king from him. Until he was even associated with the promised Messiah. Yes, Jesus even referred to as the Son of David.

When we leave this world someday, what do we want people to remember about us? Our success or our failure? Is the journey of life and faith that we can strive to set an example for those we leave behind? Presumably not just a happy ending that we want to happen in our lives, but a life that has completed the design of God for us. That through our lives, many people can feel the love of God. Through our lives, the name of Christ glorified - Eno

SUCCESSFUL LIFE IS NOT JUST FULFILLING A PERSONAL GOAL BUT ALSO TO FULFILL THE IDEALS OF GOD WHO CREATED US
