Horizontal conflicts, whether religious or ethnic backgrounds in different places, leaving a lot of melancholy and sad story. Scratch the wounds of the heart and the feelings of the warring parties. And wound up is not easy to be recovered. Not infrequently then came a deep hatred against other groups. If he did not want revenge, at least they will no longer want contact with the groups they saw as enemies.

God sent Peter intends to present the gospel to Cornelius, a Gentile who fears God. Peter received a message the Lord Jesus to make disciples of all nations. However, when the opportunity to reach out to other people in sight, Peter has a personal objection. Jewish blood and the false pride makes it difficult to love those non-Jews. Despite Peter know Cornelius was in desperate need of the gospel, his faith has not been able to follow it. Then through a vision, God fix the concept of Peter. God wants to underline his Great Commission to show his love and concern to all nations.

Whether the constraints we preach the gospel? Do we have a list of people we do not like and we therefore deem "unworthy" to hear the gospel? Or do we feel there is a group of people who "deserve better" comes first to be saved? If we believe that the gospel is for everyone, let's prove it by giving the same love to every human being, whoever they are. - PBS
