We are sometimes confused when asked about the offering. Tenth of the income? Or, how nominal sacrifice pleasing Him? An important lesson can we glean from the story of a poor widow who deliver to the offering.

If at that time we were in the temple, we will see a view that contrasts: between the rich people who put offerings into the treasury, there is a poor widow who put "only" two copper coins, the smallest pieces of money (paragraph 2) ! Which of the two offerings of the Lord's appreciation? Not unexpectedly, the poor widow's offering of pleasing Him. Although the numbers are not worth to be praised, but in the eyes of the Lord Jesus, offering more value than the offerings of rich people (verse 3). God sees the meaning of that money to the poor widow. That amount of money he had to continue his life-a living (verse 4). In the matter of giving to God, no calculation of the poor widow. He gave all his property. Poverty is no excuse for him to not give an offering to God! He believes God preserve his life. He put their trust in God, not the money he had! This offering is pleasing to God!

Randy Alcorn, in the Treasure Principle, writes: "As long as I have something, I believe that I was the owner. However, when I gave it, I let go of control, power, and self-esteem that accompanies wealth ... I realize that Allah is the Owner . "Have we deliver to the offering, accompanied by the belief that he is the owner of our property? Congratulations to present the best. - ENO
