Bacaan tahunan: Zechariah 13-14

John Stott, a pastor and prominent Christian writer, died on July 27, 2011, at the age of 90 years. As a very passionate evangelist, John Stott has taught many people to really love the Savior, also supports the Church of God in the world. Interestingly, current leader John Stott Ministries, Benjamin Homan, said that their institutions were ready to continue the service if John Stott dies, 15 years earlier. "I think he wanted to set an example for leaders of service agencies, about the continued leadership to new leaders," said Homan.

Apparently, John Stott follow in the footsteps of Jesus, lord of his life. Jesus knew, not forever He will accompany the students. One time, he must leave them. That is why Jesus was do a lot to prepare them for further service. Tirelessly, Jesus taught a lot of words and explain specifically to His disciples. He also kept an example through a lot of events and experiences. Even at the last moment he was about to return to the Father, Jesus continues to give a message: He washed the feet of His disciples, so that one day they become leader of a humble and willing to serve.

It reminds us all: every service that we hold and elaborated at this time, need to be forwarded. Because we can not hold them forever, let's immediately look for successors who will continue the struggle. Leave the service that has been occupied with love, to be forwarded to glorify Him - AW

IF A SERVICE HAS BEEN ENTRUSTED GOD WANTS THE SERVICE CAN ALWAYS BE FORWARDED
