Grusah-grusuh is an expression in Java language which describes someone who acts without consideration of mature; all in a rush; Act instantly. Consequently, the level of course not maximum, even very likely many decisions which are then disesali.
Solomon, advise us by a military analogy: "only with planning you can make war" (verse 6). Many soldiers were not enough, it needs to mature calculations to direct them. Another analogy is in building a home, selecting valuable objects, and have the Authority (vv. 3-5). Planning show wisdom, intelligence, understanding, and wisdom. Solomon continued, "victory depends upon a lot of counsel." Many hear the advice will enable a person to make a good plan and mature. Solomon himself is known as a figure endowed with wisdom beyond any human being ever existed (see 1 Kings 3: 12). But apparently, the remarkable wisdom which the Lord did not make it into the arrogant and stubborn. Instead, the wisdom of it awareness and humility to listen to a lot of advice.
What about us? Whether we live in the spirit of grusah-grusuh or full planning? Don't let life pass in vain because our inattentive or lazy plans. A plan born of wisdom, and wisdom comes from the fear of the Lord (cf. Prov. 1: 7). God longs for our lives to glorify him. So let's ask the Lord for wisdom of the plan as well as humility to hear a lot of advice. --CAP
