BECOMING A MIRROR OF THE FATHER

... Fathers, do not stir up anger in the hearts of your children, but didiklah them in the teachings and advices of the Lord. (Ephesians 6: 4)

We are created by God, the great and great that we live for his glory. This is one of the teaching that sticks firmly in the minds of John Piper through the life of his father. When his mother died because of the accident, the father of John, who accompanied the injured in ambulances. On the sidelines of the girl holding the pain, he was talking about Romans 8: 28 and John taught that God is in control of every situation. No shame with her short, the father also taught John the continuation and not waste God's plan for him.
According to Ephesians 6: 1, John public homage to his father by telling the example-the example of his faith in the midst of the congregation to which he gembalakan. Through it he inspire many fathers to live a life worthy of being honored by her children, and invite people to look at God as the father is perfect. Yes, being a father is a beautiful vocation, because these reflect the Personal status of God as the father in heaven. That's why every father is asked to educate his children "in the teachings and advices of the Lord" (verse 4), not the teachings and his advice on their own.
In honor of father's day, let back thank God who wills to be our father. Fathers in the world is perhaps disappointing, but not with the father in heaven. She accepts and loves us completely, his teachings and advice was perfect. Let's pray for the father we know, in order to educate the family in God's teachings and advice. And, let's give tribute to those who have blessed us with life as a reflection of the father in heaven. -ELS
