In his book God's Power to Change Your Life, Rick Warren speak the story of him while still young. At the time, he was so longing to have patience as the fruit of the spirit in Galatians 5. One morning, he prayed that God helped him to produce the fruit of the spirit. During the day, while he was eating on campus, come someone famous ignorant. Author of the book of Hebrews explains the reason, namely, that we may be able to train and hone the characters become more perfect in the middle of the challenge (paragraph 4). Also, so that we get an opportunity to temper growing (verse 3 FAYH). That is why we should be happier if experiencing difficulties (paragraph 2). Of course, when we experience a test, we often wavering, did not know to do and be what it looks like. That is why the Lord reminds us to not hesitate asking for wisdom from God (verses 5-7). The wisdom of God is going to make us more calm in the face of trials (verse 8).
You experience unpleasant exam? The test of God indeed forged our character. Pray that we hold may be wise in these examinations. --JIM
